    Abstract: A device and a method for mash seam welding of a tailored blank, which can reduce thickness of a weld portion and can miniaturize a welding equipment, are provided. A device for mash seam welding of a tailored blank comprises: a bed(10) for supporting a first panel(12) and a second panel(14) to be welded from a lower side; upper and lower rollers(16,18) installed at upper and lower sides of the first and second panels to press and weld the first and second panels; and first and second pads(22,24) installed at an upper side of the first and second panels to fix the first and second panels to prevent the first and second panels from being moved during rotation of the upper and lower rollers. The bed comprises a first supporting part(10a) for supporting the first panel, a second supporting part(10b) for supporting the second panel, and a space part(10c) formed between the first supporting part and the second supporting part such that the lower roller can be installed in the space part. The upper and lower rollers have projected welding bands(16a,18a) formed on outer peripheral surfaces thereof such that curved lines are slantly formed from one ends to the other ends of the upper and lower rollers.
