Abstract: PURPOSE: An emergency engine-starting device for a vehicle equipped with a button starting system is provided to start the engine of a vehicle by performing an immobilizer function using an LF antenna installed around a cup holder of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An emergency engine-starting device for a vehicle equipped with a button starting system comprises an LF(Low Frequency) antenna(32), a smart key control part(40), and an alarm part. The LF antenna is installed around a cup holder of the vehicle and transmits and receives LF signals. The smart key control part operates with a smart key(30) and starts the engine. The emergency smart key control part of the smart key drives the smart key through the LF antenna. The smart key control part operates the engine according to the authentication of the smart key. The alarm part alarms an emergency engine-starting state according to the control the smart key control part.

Abstract: An USB(Universal Serial Bus) smart key can reduce the cost by performing the IPM(Intelligent Power Modulate) and emergency starting authentication process without the transponder and FOB holder of the FOB key. The smart key and USB memory(112) are integrated in the USB smart key(110). The USB smart key is inserted into USB connector(132) of USB host controller(130). The USB smart key transmits the encryption code for the emergency starting authentication in the IPM(120) in case of being connected to the IPM terminal(133) of USB host controller. The USB smart key transmits the function descriptor for the audio operation in the USB host controller in case of being connected to the audio device terminal(134) of USB host controller.

Abstract: An electronic control suspension for a vehicle and an operation method thereof are provided to estimate damping force of a rear wheel and the height of the vehicle by controlling a rear shock absorber and a solenoid valve according to electromotive force from a front wheel. An electronic control suspension includes front and rear shock absorbers(20,30), an impact sensor(50), a vehicle speed sensor(80), a memory(60), and a control unit(10). The front and rear shock absorbers reduce impact during traveling, and the impact sensor detects impact in contracting or expanding the front shock absorber. The control unit regulates the rear shock absorber and a solenoid valve(40) according to impact from the impact sensor. The vehicle speed sensor detects travel speed of a vehicle, and the memory stores the distance between a front axle and a rear axle and change of electromotive force in traveling.
