    Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust system is provided to effectively deal with the degradation degree of catalysts by varying the fuel injection patterns of an injector. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust system comprises an exhaust line(110), a nitrogen oxides purification catalyst(130), an injector(120), and a controller(105). Exhasut gas, exhasuted from an engine, passes through the exhaust line. The nitrogen oxides purification catalyst is installed in the exhaust line and reduces nitrogen oxides. The injector eliminates the nitrogen oxides stored in the nitrogen oxides purification catalysts by separating the nitrogen oxides. The controller varies the injection patters injected from the injector by sensing the degradation degree of the nitrogen oxides purification catalyst.
