    Abstract: PURPOSE: An air flap apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent an engine from being overheated by smoothly flowing external air toward the engine even if a vehicle is stopped or traveled at a low-speed. CONSTITUTION: An air flap apparatus for a vehicle comprises a drive unit, a link, and a flap(130). The link is vertically moved by the operation of the drive unit. The flap is rotatably connected to a carrier penetration unit(211) and selectively opens and closes the carrier penetration unit by the vertical movement of the link. The flap comprises a flap rotary shaft(130a), a bottom flap unit(130b), and a top flap unit(130c). One side of the flap rotary shaft of the flap is coupled to one side of the link. The lower flap unit is formed in the bottom of the bottom flap unit. The upper flap unit is formed in the top of the flap rotary shaft.
