Abstract: PURPOSE: A lubricating system is provided to enhance the lubrication performance of an engine by preventing non-filtered oil from being supplied to an engine lubricating part. CONSTITUTION: A lubricating system of a vehicle engine comprises an oil pump pumping an oil stored in an oil pan, an oil filter filtering the pumped oil from the oil pump and supplying to an engine lubrication part(55), a cold-start line(60) connected from a front part of the oil filter to the rear part to make the oil directly supplied to the engine lubrication part at cold start, a bypass line(70) opened and filtering the oil when the pressure between the oil pump and the oil filter is over the prescribed value and then supplying the oil to the engine lubrication part or returning to the oil pan.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An oil supplement system is provided to automatically supplement oil when engine oil is consumed. CONSTITUTION: An oil supplement system includes: an oil tank(11); an engine(14) including an oil pipe(12) flowing oil therethrough from the oil tank and an oil pan(13) storing the oil from the oil pipe; an oil hydraulic valve(15) opening/shutting the oil pipe; an oil pressure sensor(16) detecting hydraulic pressure of oil; an ECU(Electronic Control Unit,17); a first solenoid valve(18) driven according to the change of oil pressure; a second solenoid valve opening/shutting the oil hydraulic valve; and a vacuum pump(21) driving the valve. The reduction of oil pressure in the engine is detected through the oil pressure sensor and fed to the ECU. The ECU drives the first solenoid valve with the vacuum pump. Thereby, the flow of oil pressure is generated and the pressure of oil rises up. The oil hydraulic valve is opened by the second solenoid valve, and the engine oil in the oil tank flows into the oil pan. The oil hydraulic valve is closed when the sufficient amount of engine oil is supplemented. Therefore, the oil is not supplied any more.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A cooling system of an engine is provided to improve the cooling efficiency of a cylinder block and a cylinder head by circulating a coolant through the cylinder block and the cylinder head in each independent flow path.
