Abstract: PURPOSE: A pressure maintaining system of an LPG cylinder for a vehicle is provided to smoothly transmit an LPG fuel by stably maintaining the internal pressure of a cylinder in a cold starting condition in which the evaporation property of the LPG fuel is degraded. CONSTITUTION: A pressure maintaining system of an LPG cylinder for a vehicle comprises an LPG cylinder(110), an air vent valve(120), and a check valve(130). The LPG cylinder is equipped with a discharge passage for discharging internal air. The air vent valve opens or closes the discharge passage. The check valve is installed at the inlet of the discharge passage. The LPG cylinder has predetermined opening pressure in order to maintain internal pressure to be higher than predetermined pressure. The opening pressure is higher than atmospheric pressure. The LPG cylinder leaves the predetermined amount of internal air instead of entirely removing the internal air of the LPG cylinder after a water-tightness test while manufacturing.
