Abstract: During medium- and high-voltage power supply the fluctuating demand of consumer loads leads to differing power flows in the system which need to be influenced by the tap-changer operation in order to provide optimal operation, and with the tap-changer no longer being sufficiently capable of controlling the power flows under the prevailing conditions of the deregulated market, the secondary voltage is controlled by means of a controller (RE), a controlled converter (UM) and a three-phase transformer (UT), leading to less mechanical wear .

Abstract: An insulated mast head of a mast for an overhead line has at least one current-carrying conductor (4-6) fastened to the insulator (10) of the mast head (3) and on the tip of the mast head is located an earth conductor (7). This is connected galvanically to an earth point (9) at the mast foot via an earth conductor connection (8) running inside the mast. The earth conductor connection is surrounded by an insulating layer (12). The insulating layer at the height of each conductor is surrounded by two mirror-symmetric insulating cones (13,14) which are spaced apart and each has electrically conducting control electrodes (15). The outer surface of the insulating layer found between both insulating cones is completely covered with an electrically conducting layer (16) in contact with the control electrodes. The control electrodes project out over an outer annular electrode (17) extending under the insulator.

Abstract: The power line has an additional, compensation, loop (1) surrounding at least one phase conductor. Into this compensation loop a compensation current is fed via a driving voltage. This current's phase angle and amplitude are adjusted relative to the phase conductor current angles and amplitudes so that its magnetic field works in opposition to that of the phase conductors. The driving voltage in the compensation loop and in at least one additional loop, which also surrounds a phase conductor and is connected with the original loop, is generated so that the overhead line is divided into at least two main sections. One section is with the original loop and one is with the additional loop.

Abstract: The invention relates to a powder spraying device for electrostatic powder coating of workpieces. In order to achieve a particularly good powder particle charge, the powder spraying device (10) contains a chamber (1) into which a powder/air mixture (PL) is introduced crosswise to the spraying device (13) by means of a feed pipe (11). A ground electrode (5) and multiple high-voltage electrodes (7) are placed in the chamber (1). All electrodes (5, 7) are swept by purified air (RLE, RLH) in order to prevent powder deposits.
