    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a water cultivation equipment capable of growingly rearing especially water shield, water dropwort, etc., by arranging a coconut fiber mat at the upper bottom formed by providing an intermediate net in an intermediate frame of housing part having attached float and opened in the upper part and constituting the equipment so as to rear a water cultivation plant on the above-mentioned mat. CONSTITUTION:The root 51 of water shield 50 is inserted into the above- mentioned coconut fiber mat 39 and the water shield 50 is reared while holding the above-mentioned root 51 between the bottom part 20 and upper bottom 30. The leaf 53 is extended upward the mat 39 and can be floated on the water face 55 thereby. The root is not extended in the position deeper than 1m water depth by an outer net 33 and invasion of a fish or other creature is prevented and can be efficiently reared. According to the present invention, a plant for water cultivation, e.g. root of water shield can be reared in the position of 1m water depth by floating the water cultivation equipment on river, lake or marsh having >=1m depth using a float.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a solid copolymer by copolymerizing a satd. halogenated hydrocarbon with an ester of a metallic acid of a given formula in an org. solvent in the presence of an electron donor catalyst under dehalogenation. CONSTITUTION:1 pt.wt. satd. halogenated hydrocarbon such as a 1-3C fluorocarbon is added to and dissolved in 10-150 pts.wt. org. solvent of an electron donor type such as tetrahydrofuran, to which 0.3-0.8 pt.wt. solid radical polymn. initiator such as silica gel is then added. The resulting mixture is admixed with 1-5mol, per mol of the satd. halogenated hydrocarbon, ester of a metallic acid of the formula: M(OR)4 (wherein M is Ti, Zr, or the like; and R is an aliph. hydrocarbon), such as butyl titanate. The resulting mixture is reacted at 20 to 70 deg.C for 10 to 120 hours while being irradiated with a light of 300 to 800nm in dominant wavelength. After the completion of the reaction, the solvent is evaporated for removal thereof to obtain a harmless solid copolymer constituted of a metal, oxygen and a satd. hydrocarbon skeleton.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To protect the titled fence by joining plural blocks consisting of a floating body by means of both a rope for joining and an anchor rope for stationary fixing. CONSTITUTION:Floating bodies 1 such as expanded polystyrene and polypropylene are arranged in two rows at a proper interval via a resin pipe 4. A resin set 2b becoming a bottom plate is provided between these floating bodies 1 and a coconut shell fibrous network body 5 becoming a planting bed of a hydrophyte 11 is fixed on the resin net 2b. The outer peripheries of the floating bodies 1 are covered by the resin net 2b and both ends of the floating bodies 1 are covered by a polyvinyl chloride sheets 3 and a block consisting of the floating bodies 1 arranged in two rows is formed. Ropes 7a are perforated in the axial directions of respective floating bodies 1 of the block and shackles 8 are fitted to the tips of the ropes 7a and plural pieces of blocks are respectively joined in proper length by the shackles 8. Thereby underwater enriched nutrient is reduced and the generation of phytoplankton is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the growth and diffusion of phytoplankton by connecting several floats covered with a resinous net and a coconut husk fiber net formed by weaving twisted yarns of coconut husk fibers into a fine mesh form in an adequate length. CONSTITUTION:A float 4 of an angular or circular column form, made of polystyrene or polypropylene, is covered with a resinous net 2, a coconut husk fiber net 6 is attached to the circumference by a rope 1, and a shackle 3 is attached to the top of float 4. Anchor ropes 8 for fixing the float 4 at a fixed position are tensely provided to both ends of the lower part of the float 4. Plural floats 4 are connected in an adequate length by the shackle 3 and set to the bottom of swamp, lake, or river by the ropes 8. Since the seeds of plants adhere to the nets 6 and grow by absorbing nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium in water, eutrophic substances in water are reduced and therefore, the growth of phytoplankton can be prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent phytoplankton from flowing out into rivers or streams and to keep away environmental pollution by spreading the sedimentation agent consisting mainly of aluminium, calcium and silicon over lakes and waters, and catching the floating phytoplankton to be sedimented down to the bottom of water. CONSTITUTION:The sedimentation agent is used for the sediment of water weeds including phytoplankton down the surface of water, which results in the cohesive effect of water weeds as well as the sedimentation effect of cohesive substance. The sedimentation agent is a composition consisting of aluminium sulphate as cohesive agent for floatings, calcium carbonate having cohesive and sedimentation effects, and silicon compound (kaolin acid white clay, diatomite, talc and Kanuma soil) as sedimentation agent. The weight composition ratio of aluminum sulphate to calcium carbonate is 3 to 1, representing 10wt%-80wt% of the weight of sediment agent containing silicon compound.
