El uso de este componente de poliol para preparar PUR, en particular PUR compacto o espumado, se describe asimismo.

Abstract: In a method (M1) for the production of prepolymers (I) by reacting isocyanate group-containing prepolymers (i) with silanes (ii) containing group(s) which react with isocyanate, the mol ratio of isocyanate groups in (i) to silane units in (ii) = (1.01:1)-(10:1). Independent claims are also included for (1) a method (M2) for the production of (I) by reacting (i) with (ii) and a polyol component (iii) which may also contain other substances such as foam stabilisers and/or catalysts, in which (i) is mixed with (ii) at the same time as (iii) or before (iii) (2) a method (M3) for the production of (I) with a free NCO group content of 1-15 wt% and a monomeric isocyanate content of less than 0.4 wt%, by reacting an isocyanate (ia) with polyol(s) (ib) (preferably with a functionality of 3 or less), reacting the unreacted monomeric isocyanate with (ii) and then optionally reacting the product with (iii), optionally in presence of diluents, stabilisers, catalysts and gaseous blowing agents (3) prepolymers (I) obtained by these methods (4) reaction products of (a) isocyanate, (b) polyol and (ii) NCO-reactive silane, with an NCO content of 1-15 wt% and a monomeric isocyanate content of less than 0.4 wt% (5) one- or two-component PUR foam-in-can systems based on (I) .

A process for preparation of polyurethanes by reaction of a polyol component (A) with a polyisocyanate prepolymer (B) where the polyol component comprises: (A1) polyetherol of OH number 10-100; (A2) a crosslinking polyetherol of OH number 500-1000; (A3) a chain lengthening agent based on amines and the polyisocyanate prepolymer, (B) obtained by reaction of (B1) a polyisocyanate with (B2) a poly-tetrahydrofuran. Independent claims are included for: (1) a polyurethane obtained as above; and (2) automobile external parts containing polyurethane as above.

Abstract: A process for preparing a homogeneous polyol component which is stable to separation and consists of at least one compound of relatively high molecular weight having at least two reactive hydrogen atoms and low-molecular-weight chain extenders and/or crosslinkers and, if desired, of blowing agents, catalysts and other auxiliaries and/or additives comprises the addition to this component of at least one amine and at least one organic and/or modified organic isocyanate; the invention also provides the corresponding polyol component which is stable to separation. The use of this polyol component for preparing PUR, in particular compact or foamed PUR, is also described.
