Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing composite elements which have the following layer structure: (i) 2 - 20 mm metal, plastic or wood, (ii) 10 -300 mm plastic, (iii) 2 - 20 mm metal, plastic or wood. The initial materials are introduced in a liquid state for the production of (ii) in at least two steps in the area between (i) and (iii). The area which is to be filled in the last filling step has a volume of 0.1 m3 1.5 m3 and the height which is to be filled is less than 25 mm.

Abstract: A 5-300mm thick plastic layer (2) is sandwiched between two metal layers(1,4), 1-20mm thick. Surfaces of the metal layers facing the plastic have raised areas(3,5) with a height of 0.1-15mm to increase grip between the layers. Raised areas(3,5), preferably 0.1-2mm in height, are produced in the metal layers(1,4) and the metal layers are fixed in position. Space between them is then filled with an initially liquid material to produce a plastic layer(2). The space between the metal layers is sealed to contain the fluid plastic before introduction of the latter. Independent claims are included for a process for manufacturing the composite product in which raised areas or projections are produced by filing, rolling, pressing or grinding.

The reference value is derived from a simulated computation or a comparative measurement. The mechanical vibration is applied by a hammer (11).

Abstract: A new polyol mixture (I) comprises: (A) at least one terephthalate containing polyesterpolyol and/or at least one terephthalate containing polyetheresterpolyol; (B) at least one polyetherpolyol; (C) at least one glycol; and (D) at least one propellant mixture including at least water, carbamate and liquid gas. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a polyurethane foam obtained by reaction of the polyol mixture (I) with (E) difunctional isocyanate(s); (2) a method for preparation of a polyurethane foam comprising separation of the reaction mixture of (I) and (E), and discharge into a vessel under pressure with subsequent mixing; and (3) a process involving use of a gas mixture, for discharge of the mixture and the separated component (E), which contains at least 2 parts by weight of liquid gas.
