Abstract: La presente invención se refiere a unidades que contienen copolímero soluble en agua o dispersable en agua, que se puede incrustrar por polimerización, a) de por lo menos un monómero etilénicamente insaturado que comprende un grupo lateral de sacárido y b) por lo menos un monómero hidrofílico que es diferente de (met)acrilamida y etilénicamente insaturado, en donde el porcentaje en peso de los monómeros etilénicamente insaturados comprendiendo un grupo lateral de sacárido es 5 a 95% en peso. Los copolímeros exhiben alta afinidad a superficies inorgánicas o fibras hidrofílicas tal como algodón. Dichos copolímeros se usan en detergentes textiles como polimeros que son capaces de disolver muegre y/o prevenir percudido o minimizar el riesgo de la colonización microbiana de materiales cubiertos con los mismos.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing tear-propagation-resistant foils using biologically degradable polyesters which can be obtained by polycondensation from: i) 65 to 80 mol %, based on components i to ii, of one or a plurality of dicarbonic acid derivatives or dicarbonic acids selected from the group consisting of: succinic acid, adipic acid, sebacic acid, azelaic acid and brassylic acid; ii) 35 to 20 mol %, based on components i to ii, of a terephthalic acid derivative; iii) 98 to 102 mol %, based on components i to ii, of a C-C alkylene diol or C-Coxyalkylene diol; iv) 0.05 to 2 wt %, based on the polymer obtainable from components i to iii, of an at least trifunctional crosslinker or of an at least difunctional chain extender. The invention further relates to polymer mixtures which are suitable for producing foils capable of tear propagation.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing cling films, using biodegradable polyesters obtainable by polycondensation of: i) 65 to 80 mol%, based on the components i to ii, one or more dicarboxylic acid derivatives or dicarboxylic acids selected from the group consisting of: succinic acid, adipic acid, sebacic acid, azelaic acid and brassylic acid; ii) 35 to 20 mol%, based on the components i) to ii), of a terephthalic acid derivative; iii) 98 to 102 mol%, based on the components i) to ii), of a C2-C8 alkylenediol or C2-C6 oxyalkylenediol; iv) 0.1 to 2% by weight, based on the polymer obtainable from the components i to iii, of an at least trifunctional crosslinker or at least difunctional chain extender. In addition the invention relates to polymer mixtures which are particularly suitable for producing cling films, and to cling films which contain biodegradable polyesters.
