Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to print a density irregularity-free and high quality level image by comparing the density of the image with a reference density per specified unit, based on the density distribution of the image recorded experimentally and selecting a signal of the type close to the reference density to be sent to a printing head. SOLUTION: When correcting plural recording elements and a recording head IJH with data storing memory 13, plural various signals are applied to the recording elements to make a recording medium record plural recording patterns experimentally. Further, a recording pattern image recorded is read using a CCD camera 4 and one signal is selected from among the plural various signals based on the density distribution of the image so that the recording pattern image is of a value equal to a reference density per specified unit of the recording element. Data for selecting this signal is used as correction data and is stored in memory 13 as initial correction data. After that, either of optical correction data per specified unit of the recording element or the initial correction data is selected, and data based on the selected data is sent to the recording head IJH.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly accurate position correction and efficient registration without being influenced by irregularities of process accuracy of a collet or cut accuracy of an element board, etc., when a base plate and the element board are to be positioned. SOLUTION: After an adhesive 3 is applied to an upper face of a base plate 1 which becomes a mount reference for a liquid-jet recording head, an element board 2 having a row of discharge energy generation elements is supplied onto the base plate 1 by a transfer collet 7. While the element board 2 is held by a position correction collet 8 having a notch 8a, positions of both corner parts 2a of the element board are detected. A shift amount from a target position is finely adjusted and corrected by moving moving means 10-12 for the base plate 1 while the element board 2 is still held by the position correction collet 8, so that the element board 2 is registered. The adhesive 3 is hardened thereafter. Highly accurate positioning and stable mounting can be realized efficiently and a mount Tact is shortened.

SOLUTION: A butting reference projection part 7 is formed to a heater board 1. A jig 5 has a butting reference recess part 6 and a groove 9 which regulates a relative position of a separation wall and the jig 5 when a movable part 4 of the separation wall is inserted. In a state while the jig 5 holds the separation wall, the butting reference projection part 7 and the butting reference recess part 6 are butted and registered, whereby the separation wall 4 and the heater board 1 can be registered. A top plate has a butting reference recess part similar to the recess part of the jig, and therefore the top plate and the heater board 1 can be registered in the same method as when the separation wall and heater board are registered.

The top plate 2 is moved, while floating, relatively to the element board 1 in order to align a reference jet energy generating element with a reference jet port 2a or a liquid channel trench 2b thus aligning the element board 1 with the top plate 2 while protecting the minute members, e.g. the liquid channel trench, thereof against deformation or damage.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a liquid jetting recording head, capable of certainly executing conveyance, positioning and fixing of minute members comprising the liquid jetting recording head, such as a thin film member, with a simple mechanism without generating damage or deformation of the minute members. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a liquid jetting recording head with a thin film member 5 comprising a movable part between a top plate and an element substrate, at the time of positioning and mounting the thin film member 5 on the element substrate 1, a thermal peeling sheet 10 comprising a thermal peeling adhesive layer having a property of drastically deteriorating its adhesive power by heating and a base material layer is bonded onto the thin film member 5. The thermal peeling sheet 10 with the thin film member is adsorbed and conveyed by a conveyance finger 11 so that the thin film ember 5 is positioned on the element substrate 1. With the thin film member 5 bonded on the element substrate 1 by the thermal peeling sheet 10, it is mounted by supersonic wave hot compression bonding. Thereafter, the thermal peeling sheet 10 is peeled off from the thin film member 5 easily by heating a supporting substrate 17.

The central position A2 is corrected with the correction value C to determine an alignment target value D=A2-C. Furthermore, the central position E of the alignment reference hole in the ink ejection face of the top plate is measured and the shift F=D-E of the central position E of position reference hole from the alignment target value D is determined. The top plate is moved such that the absolute value of F will be equal to or smaller than a specified value.
