Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately position and combine a heater board, a top plate and a separation wall of an ink jet head. SOLUTION: A butting reference projection part 7 is formed to a heater board 1. A jig 5 has a butting reference recess part 6 and a groove 9 which regulates a relative position of a separation wall and the jig 5 when a movable part 4 of the separation wall is inserted. In a state while the jig 5 holds the separation wall, the butting reference projection part 7 and the butting reference recess part 6 are butted and registered, whereby the separation wall 4 and the heater board 1 can be registered. A top plate has a butting reference recess part similar to the recess part of the jig, and therefore the top plate and the heater board 1 can be registered in the same method as when the separation wall and heater board are registered.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To align an element board with a top plate while protecting the minute members, e.g. the liquid channel, of the element board and the top plate against deformation or damage. SOLUTION: When an element board 1 having an array of jet energy generating elements and a top plate 2 having a liquid channel part comprising a plurality of liquid channel trenches 2b, a liquid receiving port 2c and a common liquid chamber 2d are assembled while being aligned, compressed air A is supplied from the liquid receiving port 2c of the top plate 2 through a finger for clamping the top plate 2 to form a micro air layer 3 between the element board 1 and the top plate 2. The top plate 2 is moved, while floating, relatively to the element board 1 in order to align a reference jet energy generating element with a reference jet port 2a or a liquid channel trench 2b thus aligning the element board 1 with the top plate 2 while protecting the minute members, e.g. the liquid channel trench, thereof against deformation or damage.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a measuring method in which a displacement up to an attenuation state is measured on the basis of a sudden change in a diaphragm installed at a liquid discharge head by a method wherein a displacement in one point on the diaphragm and a prescribed displacement amount in which a displacement amount obtained regarding every diaphragm out of a plurality of diaphragms are compared with a prescribed displacement amount which is decided in advance. SOLUTION: When a manual measurement is decided, the initial position of a diaphragm is first confirmed. After that, the measurement is performed along a movement point which is decided in advance by a user. On the other hand, when an automatic measurement is selected, a host computer makes the user confirm the initial position of the diaphragm. After that, the measurement is performed along a measuring point which is decided in advance by the user. When the initial position is displaced due to the mounting operation of a jig or due to an irregularity in the manufacture of a liquid discharge head, the position of a stage is corrected on the side of the user. In this state, a displacement measuring apparatus sequentially measures a plurality of diaphragms constituted on the liquid discharge head. When it reaches a final point, measured data is transferred to the host computer from a converter 11. The host computer judges the displacement amount of every diaphragm on the basis of the data.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To align a top plate and an element substrate accurately using a simple and low cost apparatus and to assemble them at a short tact without damaging the top plate. SOLUTION: A base plate 30 pasted with an element substrate 20 is positioned on the upper surface of a jig base 50 inclining obliquely rearward with respect to a horizontal plane P and secured in place. After being transferred onto the element substrate 20, a top plate 10 is oscillated by an oscillator arranged on the jig base 50 to move smoothly on the element substrate 20 along the inclining direction thus bringing the reference abutting part 16 of the top plate 10 into precise contact with the side end face of the element substrate 20 and the lower part of the jetting port plate 11 of the top plate 10 with the front end face of the element substrate 20 respectively. After stopping oscillation, the top plate 10 and the element substrate 20 are secured through a spring using a spring hooking jig under a state the upper surface of the top plate 10 is pressed by a Z pressing jig 57.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of liquid jet recording head in which highly accurate stabilized positioning of a top plate and an element board is ensured even if the channel forming face of the top plate is curved or warped by abutting the end face of the element board against the reference abutting part of the top plate. SOLUTION: At the time of positioning a top plate 1 and an end face 7 precisely by abutting the end face 7 of an element board 5 against the reference abutting part 4 provided at the end of the channel forming face 3 of a top plate 1 constituting a liquid jet recording head, the top plate 1 and the element board 5 are clamped temporarily by means of two temporary clampers 10, 11 wherein the clamping force of the clamper 10 on the abutting side is set stronger than that of the other clamper 11. The element board 5 is brought into contact, on the end face 7 side, with the channel forming face 3 and then it is moved under temporarily clamped state by an abutting jig 14 to abut the end face 7 against the reference abutting part 4 and positioned in place. Subsequently, the top plate 1 is secured tightly to the board 5 by means of an urging means 8, e.g. a spring.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure highly accurate temporary positioning at the time of pasting a thin film material to an element board arranged with heating elements by abutting the thin film material against an abutting reference member at a temporary positioning part and then shifting the reference member to a temporary positioning reference position. SOLUTION: When abutting reference members 1a, 1b are previously shifted slightly from the end face of a base 2a, a thin film material P abutting against the abutting reference member 1a, 1b may touch the member 1a, 1b at two points. When the reference member 1a abuts against the base 2a at first, the thin film material P comes into line contact with the member 1a thus ending positioning in the X direction. Subsequently, a part of the material P projecting in the Y direction is pressed against the base 2a by means of the member 1b thus ending positioning in the Y direction. Finally, a microporous medium 3 is deaired and adsorbed thus completing temporary positioning of the thin film material P.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the heat accumulation to the liquid on a heating element to a large extent while enhancing discharge effect and discharge pressure by positioning a separation wall by a strike-against reference part and the end part on the upstream side in the liquid flow direction of a liquid passage wall to fit the same in a grooved member. SOLUTION: Movable members 31 are arranged in the liquid passages 10 of a grooved member 1 or on passage walls 10a and the grooved member 1 is vibrated by a vibration means such as a vibrator to generate the movement of the separation wall 30 in the arranging direction of the movable member 1 and the movable member 31 is fitted in the liquid passage of the grooved member 1. Further, the grooved member 1 is inclined so that the end part on the upstream side in the liquid flow direction of the liquid passage wall 10a becomes upward and, by vibrating the grooved member 1, the separation wall 30 is struck against the front strike reference part 4 and side surface strike reference part of the grooved member 1 to fit the separation wall 30 in the grooved member 1. The movable member 31 is fitted in the groove becoming the liquid passage 10 and the damage of the movable member 31 is not generated at a time of the alignment of the grooved member 1 and the element substrate.

Similar effect is aimed by providing a bend at the foot of the fixing member.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a substrate and a metal thin film layer simply and accurately in a short time without the need of a large and expensive apparatus. SOLUTION: A metal thin film layer 4 having a valve member 48 integrally formed is disposed on a substrate 2 having an ink channel 1 formed so that magnetic attraction is generated from a side thin film magnetic head 5a to the metal thin film layer 4. The metal thin film layer 4 is moved until being contacted with the thin film magnetic head 5a so that the magnetic generation from the thin film magnetic head 5a is stopped. Subsequently, magnetic attraction is generated from a rear thin film magnetic head 5b. The metal thin film layer 4 is moved until being contacted with the rear thin film magnetic head 5b so that the magnetic generation from the thin film magnetic head 5b is stopped. Accordingly, the metal chin film layer 4 is positioned horizontally with the magnetic heads 5a, 5b provided on the substrate 2 as the reference.

SOLUTION: By applying n kinds of recording controlling signal patterns to a full line recording head, recording patterns are recorded n times on trial. A standard concentration distribution is formed from one of recording pattern images for n trial times, resulting in selecting one among n kinds of the recording controlling signal patterns for every recording elements so as to be equal or akin to the standard concentration distribution. However, in order to verify whether the selected recording controlling signal is the optimum signal or not, the similar selection is performed to another standard concentration distribution formed on the basis of other recording pattern images so as to adopt the optimum one among a plurality of recording controlling signal patterns as correction data.
