    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the line utilizing efficiency by providing a line waiting management equipment sending a call request through other line or holding the line in line standby state when a next call request comes while one line is busy. CONSTITUTION:In the presence of a call request, a line waiting management device 7 uses a G4 line control section 5 so as to use a digital line 8 when both 8, 9 are idle to send picture information, and when the digital line 8 is busy, a G3 line control section 6 uses a telephone line 9 to send picture information thereby controlling line control section 5, 6. Moreover, the lines 8, 9 of both are busy, for example, a flag corresponding to a call request of each transmission original is set to generate a line queue of each call request and the management till the line is idle is applied. Thus, plural originals set in the memory 4 are sent continuously with a maximum efficiency.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To receive the operation of transmitting while receiving is executed by transmitting immediately a original to be transmitted when a line is idle, accumulating the transmitting original to an image memory while the line is used, and transmitting the original accumulated to the memory when the line is idle. CONSTITUTION:When the operation of the transmitting is executed, it is judged whether or not a line 7 is used. When the line 7 is not used, the original to be transmitted read by a reading device 1 is immediately transmitted, and through encoding/decoding devices 4, a line control device 6 and the line 7, the original is sent to an opponent receiver. When the line is used, namely, when receiving is executed, the original read by the reading device 1 is once accumulated to an image memory 5, thereafter, when the line 7 is made idle, the original is read instantaneously from the image memory 5, and sent through the line control device 6 and the line 7 to an opponent facsimile equipment. Thus, while the receiving is executed, the operation of the transmitting can be received.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To execute an image compression at a high speed even with a CPU of regular speed by providing a bit move circuit which performs the byte pack of a variable-length code data. CONSTITUTION:A CPU1 reads in an image data from an input port 3, and takes out an MH code corresponding to it from a table at a ROM21 and loads the MH code at a shift register 5 through an output port 4, and simultaneously, it sets the code length of the MH code at a counter 7. A borrow signal at the counter 7 becomes 1, and a clock (e) is supplied from a clock control circuit 9, and a serial data is supplied from the shift register 5, and a shift register 6 outputs a parallel signal. When a data of three bits is shifted with the next MH code, the occurrence of the clock (e) is terminated with the signal of the output line (f) of a byte counter 8, and a byte data of eight bits is outputted to the output line (g) of the shift register 6, an MH code of one byte being byte-packed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten a transmission time when one station which processes high-density data transmits data to the opposite station which processes low density data by selecting image data and converting its density for transmission. CONSTITUTION:A document is edited on a CRT 60 firstly and then it is judged whether one-page edited information is divided into plural blocks or not. The 1st block is checked to judge whether the block consists of image data or character data. When the block consists of the image data, the opposite station makes a decision between 8pel/mm and 16pel/mm. When the data is transmitted at a rate of 8pel/mm, 1/2 density conversion is performed by a BMU 24 and an IMEM 25. Then, the 2nd block is checked and when blocks are all checked, it is decided whether a transmission command is inputted or not and when so, transmission is started. When one station processes high-density data and the opposite station processes low-density data, the amount of information to be transmitted decreases, so the speed of transmission to be opposite station is increased.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain confirmation of reception without provision of any indicator by displaying the reception of an incoming signal to a CRT during mix edition in the CRT. CONSTITUTION:Negotiation is started and whether or not a station is communicated with an opposite station is discriminated, and when the communication is possible, the result of reception and data such as a terminal number of the opposite station and the type of class are displayed on the CRT 60. The display of reception appears at the lower part of the screen of the CRT 60 and blinks even during the edition. Further, an incoming signal is received during the mix edition between a character image and a reader image by using a beam move unit 24, an image memory 25, the CRT 60, a keyboard 61 and a mouse 62, a mouse 62, a CPU 27 stores a reception mixed data from a CCU 30 into a hard disc device 50 via a program memory 23 while using the interruption and multi-task function without intermitting the mix edition processing. Thus, when the edition is applied on the CRT, no indicator is provide and the presence of reception is known surely.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To send character information to a facsimile equipment which cannot receive a character data by sending the information after the sending data is converted into a signal form receptionable by an opposite station. CONSTITUTION:When negotiation is started with an opposite station and the communication is made possible, one block in a sending data is sent from a hard disc via a memory 23. Further, before that, a binary coded image data or a mixed data from a reader 10 is stored in a hard disc. When a reception acknowledgment signal is received, whether or not the next block to be sent remains is discriminated, and when the next block remains, the operation is repeated and an end block is sent to complete the transmission. After the transmission of a prescribed one block, when no reception acknowledgment signal is received from the opposite station, the data is sent from the hard disc. Thus, the character information is sent to a facsimile equipment which cannot receive a character data.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form the titled facsimile equipment having a recording system whose print speed is sufficiently fast with sufficiently high resolution by providing a laser printer to the recording system. CONSTITUTION:The titled equipment has a picture read section 100 as a picture read system, the laser printer 200 as the recording system and a controller C controlling the picture read section 100 and the laser printer 200. The basic recording resolution of the laser printer 200 is selected as 16pels/mmX15.4line/ mm. Thus, when a signal is received from a conventional facsimile equipment, a picture element density converting circuit 60 gives an output while dots are overlapped. That is, the received data is sent duplicatedly to a decoder 45 by a prescribed number of times at each dot and the data processed in this way is sent to the decoder 45 overlappedly at each line for prescribed number of times. Thus, even when the laser printer 200 is used, the picture size on print paper is not reduced at the reception.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow a communication while original size and recording size are different by adding a line end code which indicates a line end in a main scanning direction to every line when image information is stored as run length codes in an image memory. CONSTITUTION:When digital binary image information is inputted to a signal line (e), it is sample with a clock inputted from a signal line (a) and a change point detecting circuit 3 outputs a pulse when the image information varies in value from 0 to 1 or vice versa. This pulse is inputted to a run length calculating circuit 4, but this circuit initialize calculating operation every time the pulse appears on a signal line (c). A control circuit 2 latches the run length count result right before the initialization, i.e. the pulse appearing on the signal line (c) falls, and writes it in a memory 1. The control circuit 2 writes a line end code with a pulse from a line end detecting circuit 5 after writing the last run length in the memory 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the burden in the operator and to decrease the transmission time, by providing the means reserving the response by communication and receiving the reception mode of an opposing device, and controlling the transmission state of video signal automatically, through the automatic detection of original size. CONSTITUTION:The size of original is detected at an original width detection circuit 1, and after the video information recorded on the original is read in at a read-in circuit 2 and converted into an electric signal, it is modulated at a unit MODEM3, it is matched with a telephone set 12 with a unit NCU and transmitted to the reception side. The response by communication is reserved with the telephone set 12 and the speaker 6 provided with this device. Further, the reception mode of the opposing set is received at a tonal reception circuit 7 via the NCU4 and after receiving the reception mode at the reception circuit 7, the telephone information is fed to the NCU4 from a tonal transmission circuit 8 according to the information of the reserved telephone response and transmitted to the reception side. Further, the transmission mode of the transmission circuit 8 is selected at the reception mode received by the reception circuit 7, to determine the mode of the transmitted video signal and to decrease the burden in the operator.
