    Abstract: A pipe, which comprises the following layers: I. an exterior layer composed of a moulding composition which comprises at least 40% by weight of a polyamide whose monomer units contain, on average, at least 8 carbon atoms, III. an intermediate layer composed of a moulding composition which comprises the following components: a) from 70 to 99% by weight of polyamide, selected from PA6, PA66, PA6/66 and mixtures thereof and b) from 1 to 30% by weight of plasticizer, where the moulding composition comprises no impact modifier, and V. an interior layer composed of a moulding composition which comprises at least 40% by weight of a polyamide whose monomer units contain, on average, at least 8 carbon atoms, where a) the exterior diameter of the pipe is in the range from 6 to 20 mm, b) the wall thickness is in the range from 1.0 to 2.0 mm and c) the thickness of the polypropylene layer is from 25 to 75% of the wall thickness, is used as air-brake line which can be produced at low cost and which has high bursting strength and good low-temperature impact resistance.

    Abstract: The tube useful as compressed-air brake line, comprises an outer layer made from a polymer melt, an intermediate layer made from adhesive polymer melt with a thickness of 0.02-0.2 mm, and an interior layer made from polymer melt with a thickness of 25-75% of the wall thickness of the tube. The thickness of the outer layer is 0.02-0.2 mm. The tube has an outer diameter of 6-20 mm and wall thickness of 1.0-2.0 mm. The polymer melt of the outer layer consists of further components out of thermoplastic, plasticizer, pigments, flame proofing agent, glass fibers, antioxidant and/or additives. The tube useful as compressed-air brake line, comprises an outer layer made from a polymer melt, an intermediate layer made from adhesive polymer melt with a thickness of 0.02-0.2 mm, and an interior layer made from polymer melt with a thickness of 25-75% of the wall thickness of the tube. The thickness of the outer layer is 0.02-0.2 mm. The tube has an outer diameter of 6-20 mm and wall thickness of 1.0-2.0 mm. The layers join to each other. The polymer melt of the outer layer consists of further components out of impact-resistance modifiers (1-49%), thermoplastic, plasticizer, pigments, fillers, processing agents, flame proofing agent, glass fibers, antioxidant, UV stabilizer and/or additives. The products give antielectronic characteristics and electric conductivity to the tube. The total weight of the component is 100. The E-module of the polymer melt forming the outer layer is 300-800 Mpa.
