    Abstract: A method and arrangment for enrolling a joining peer (202) to a P2P (peer-to-peer) to the P2P network receives (2:2) a connect request sent from the joining peer, and obtains (2:4-2:7) an enrollment recommendation for the joining peer at least based on a stored current topology (208) of the P2P network. The enrollment a server then sends (2:9) attach information to the joining peer according to the enrollment recommendation. The attach information indicates where the joining peer shall connect to the P2P network. The enrollment server also updates (2:13) and stored toplogy of the P2P network when the joining peer has connected to the P2P network.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for enabling user services in a communication network with a plurality of terminal users. An initiating user terminal (200) executes a group discovery process with the terminals (202) to form a user group. Capabilities are exchanged with the terminals, including at least one of: functional resources, available services, equipment information, applications or data programs, and current traffic or connection characteristics When a group service request (R) is received from a user terminal (D) in the group, functions and actions required for the requested service are assigned to functional resources in the terminals based on the exchanged terminal capabilities. The requested group service can then be consumed by means of these functional resources without involving an operator controlled group management server.

    Abstract: A system, method and computer readable medium for providing enhanced computer-aided reading is disclosed. A rapid serial visual presentation (RSVP) based text file includes data segments having text and related code portions. The code portions at least code the exposure time of the text portion and the duration of the blank window inserted after completion of a sentence. The exposure time of a text portion is dependent on a plurality of text characteristics. The duration of a blank window is dependent on text reading index. When a computer-based reading device reads the text portion and corresponding code portions, a display device displays the text poriton in response to the code portions. Segment exposure time and duration of blank window is scaled to fit a variable mean reading speed.
