Abstract:
A method and arrangement for establishing a packet-switched multimedia session for a mobile terminal (A) in communication with another party (B), wherein a primary PDP (Packet Data Protocol) context has been activated in a mobile network for the mobile terminal. Information on the forthcoming session is received which has been negotiated and agreed between the communicating parties. It is then determined whether any network resources providing a required QoS are needed for the session, and whether a secondary PDP context is to be activated for the mobile terminal and the forthcoming session. If network resources are needed and a secondary PDP context is to be activated, the activation of said secondary PDP context is triggered.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention provides methods, an application node (104, 26, 300), a policy node (108, 24, 400), a system for service delivery control related to access technology types and in particular for service delivery control based on allowed access technology types. Based on radio access technology types as defined by an application node related to a service provider as communicated to the policy node over the inter node interface Rx (106), and an radio access technology type with which a mobile phone (102, 22) communicates on at the moment, a determination is made as to whether the radio access technology type with which the mobile phone communicate son is among the allowed radio access technology types or not. If it is not, the current access technology type may be updated such that there is a match between the allowed radio access technology type and the current radio access rate.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for enabling user services in a communication network with a plurality of terminal users. An initiating user terminal (200) executes a group discovery process with the terminals (202) to form a user group. Capabilities are exchanged with the terminals, including at least one of: functional resources, available services, equipment information, applications or data programs, and current traffic or connection characteristics When a group service request (R) is received from a user terminal (D) in the group, functions and actions required for the requested service are assigned to functional resources in the terminals based on the exchanged terminal capabilities. The requested group service can then be consumed by means of these functional resources without involving an operator controlled group management server.
Abstract:
A method of providing content (130) associated with a weight-value, the content (130) previously provided to a current computer associated with a current user (116) that is represented by a first node (106) in a social network (101). The method comprises the steps of: i) enabling the current computer (216) to display the content (130), in dependence of the weight-value, ii) obtaining an input of the current user (116), iii) updating the weight-value of the content (130), in dependence of the input of the current user (116), iv) determining a receiving computer associated with a second node (107) in the social network (101), and v) providing the content (130) to the receiving computer. Corresponding computers, computer program and computer readable medium are also described.
Abstract:
Implantable and/or wearable medical data acquisition devices (30) associated with an individual, each having NFC communication capability, collect medical data. Each device has a unique identifier. The medical data are read from the devices via a secure link by an NFC reader or transceiver (26) in a wireless communication system mobile station (10) having a unique identifier. The medical data are selectively transmitted via a secure link from the mobile station to a Presence and Group Management (PGM) server (32, 34) configured to manage data services for medical groups. Secure access to the medical data by medical professionals is restricted according to a policy system (36). Encryption keys are managed on a group basis by a group key management server (32), assigning the medical data acquisition devices (30) and mobile station (10) to groups based on their unique identifiers. The PGM server (32, 34) may send alerts and/or information to the user via the mobile station (10).
