    Abstract: Un composant optique transparent comprend deux ensembles de cellules (1) disposées dans des couches respectives (10, 20) superposées. Chaque cellule (1) contient un matériau actif optiquement et les cellules de chaque ensemble sont isolées les unes des autres par des portions de séparation (2) au sein de la couche correspondante. Les cellules (1) d'une couche sont décalées par rapport aux cellules de l'autre couche de façon à être situées au droit des portions de séparation (2) appartenant à l'autre couche. Un tel composant optique présente une transparence améliorée par rapport à des composants à une seule couche de cellules ou à cellules superposées.
