PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue writing by properly preventing an error generated in data writing. SOLUTION: The storage device for sequentially writing a plurality of blocks into which data are divided in a data recording medium is provided with a sequential writing part for sequentially writing the plurality of blocks in the data recording medium corresponding to validity information indicating whether data contained in the blocks are valid or not, an error detection part for detecting that the valid information of one block is written in an error area in which a writing error occurs in the data recording medium by one block writing, a writing area changing part for changing a wiring area in which other blocks are written so that parts other than the valid information of the other blocks in which data are written before one block are written in an error region and the valid information of the other block is written in parts other than the error region, and an error prevention writing part for writing one block in the writing area of the data recording medium in which data are written after the error area. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a startup control method of a device, a self diagnostic test method of the device, a control board, equipment and an inspection system capable of enhancing production efficiency in a manufacturing process. SOLUTION: When a system for test is connected with a debug port or an SCSI bus of a tape driving device, a self diagnostic test for the manufacturing process (steps S200, S300, S400) is carried out and when the system for test is not connected, a self diagnostic test for normal operation (a step 100) is carried out. And a motor test, an MR Head resistance test as tests of a mechanical structure part are omitted in the test by a single card. In addition. the test contents are minimized prior to the adjustment of a tape head also in a box assembling process. In addition setting of a flag, etc., is changed according to a test to be performed in the next process in a test program.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the force to be required for inserting a circuit board assembly including plural circuit boards into a card-edge connector. SOLUTION: A circuit board assembly 100' includes a first circuit board 120', a second circuit board 140' and a connecting member 160'. The first circuit board 120' is formed of a printed circuit part and a connection part l24'. The second circuit board 140' is similarly formed of a printed circuit part and a connection part 144'. Each circuit board 120', 140' are formed with a displacement from each other by a distance (d) in the inserting direction into the card edge connectors 200', 300' so that a distance between the connection part 124' of the first circuit board 120' and a first card-edge connector 200' and a distance between the connection part 144' of the second circuit board 140' and a second card-edge connector 300' are different from each other.
