    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a lithium battery as an electric power source from being consumed by connecting the battery with an electric circuit by a switchgear which is turned ON/OFF following the opening and the closing of a needle valve to spray and stop a paint to be spraying out of an atomizing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Regarding an electrostatic painting hand gun having a charging electrode 10 installed near an atomizing apparatus 4 at the tip part of the gun main body 1 of the hand carrying-type electrostatic gun; a lithium battery 14 is stored in a holding part 2 of the gun main body 1. An electric circuit 15 is formed between the battery 14 and the charging electrode 10, and an inverter, a high frequency transformer, and a chaining-type voltage doubling apparatus are respectively installed in the electric circuit 15 wherein the inverter is connected to an output terminal of the battery 14, the transformer is connected the inverter, and the chaining-type voltage doubling apparatus is connected to the high frequency transformer and elevates voltage to as high as 40-60kV. The lithium battery 14 as an electric power source is connected to the electric circuit 15 through a switchgear 17 which is turned ON/OFF following the opening and the closing of a needle valve 19 to spray and stop a paint sprayed out of an atomizing apparatus 4.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the safety, by leading the earth current, which is flowed to a high resistance mounted on the leg part of the insulating table of a paint tank, to a current detection controlling circuit and detecting the change of the current value to discriminate the abnormality. CONSTITUTION:A high voltage cable 2 is connected to a high voltage generator 1, and an electrostatic gun 3 is connected to the tip of the high voltage cable 2. The base end of a paint hose 4 connected to the electrostatic gun 3 is connected to a paint tank 5, and the paint tank 5 is put on an insulating table 6, and a leg part 6a of the insulating table 6 is provided with a high resistance earth part 7' having a high resistance 7. A current detection controlling circuit 8 is connected to the high resistance earth part 7'.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a baffle from the adhesion and deposition of powder paint particles by a mechanism wherein injection ports which inject a compessed air to the direction of the peripheral edge of a baffle provided in front of the opening of a powder injection port are provided circumferentially on the nozzle arranged the central portion of a baffle. CONSTITUTION:The powder particles supplied under pressure through a powder passage 4 of a nozzle portion 3 are diffused along a streamline shaped portion 16 of a baffle 1 from a powder injection port 8. This diffused particles are apt to turn around the edge of a baffle 1 to a front surface portion 1a widen toward the end as a whirling stream. Because a compressed air is injected from a injection ports 7 of a spit preventing nozzle 6 arranged on the center portion of the said front surface 1a through an air passage 5 to the direction of the peripheral edge of a baffle 1, the powder particles are deflected outwardly and the adhesion to the front surface of the baffle is prevented. Moreover, the injection pattern can be controlled by controlling the volume of the compressed air.
