    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve thickening properties with the lapse of time due to lack of dispersion and enhance the glossiness and color development by using a co-condensation product obtained by the addition condensation of a chemical compound expressed by a specific formula and at least, one type of chemical compound selected from among chemical compounds expressed by specific formulae using formaldehyde, as an essential component. CONSTITUTION:A dispersant for inorganic pigment contains a co-condensation product obtained by the addition condensation of a chemical compound expressed by formula A and at least, one type of chemical compound selected from among chemical compounds expressed by formulae B/D, using formaldehyde. In the formulae RO1 is a 2-3C oxyalkylene group; n is an integer of 1-100; R1, R2 is H or a 1-9C alkyl group; each of X1, X2 is H, a sulfone group or its alkali metal salt; Y is H or CH2SO3Z (Z is an alkali metal salt). At least, two of Y are H. In addition, this formaldehyde co-condensation product is of a three-dimensional molecular structure, and is adsorbed by a pigment particle to enhance the steric repulsion force, dispersion force and dispersion stability.

CONSTITUTION:Propylene oxide(PO) and ethylene oxide(EO) are alternately added to acrylic or methacrylic acid to prepare component (A) one or more selected from compounds of formula I (R1, R2 are hydrogen, methyl; PO is C3 oxyalkylene; EO is C2 oxyalkylene; m1 is 0 to 2; n1 is 1 to 10; n2 is 10 to 50; n3 is 1 to 10; X is H, 1-3 C alkyl). Then, component (B) is selected from compounds of formula II (R3 is H, methyl; M3 is H, monovalent metal, ammonium, (substituted) amino; R4 and R5 are (CH2)m2COOM3, H, methyl; m2 is 0 to 2). Finally, the components A and B are polymerized into a copolymer of 1,000 to 1,000,000 weight-average molecular weight as a concrete admixture.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a cement admixture containing, as the essential ingredient, a condensate of specific general formula, capable of improving the fluidity of hydraulic compositions such as cement paste, mortar and concrete and their fluidity sustainability. CONSTITUTION:The cement admixture containing, as the essential ingredient, a condensate of the general formula (AO is 2-3C oxyalkylene group; n is an integer of 1-100; X is a monovalent or divalent metal, ammonium, amino or substituted amino; m is an integer of 3-500). This admixture is excellent in dispersion characteristics and slump preservability, being low in cure-retarding effect. This admixture may be incorporated with (A) a cement dispersant such as a naphthalenesulfonic acid-formaldehyde condensate, melaminesulfonic acid- formaldehyde condensate, or polycarboxylic acid or eater thereof or salt thereof and/or (B) a cement water reducing agent consisting mainly of anilinesulfonic acid.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the slump loss-preventive properties of cement composition by utilizing the oxidative copolymer of both naphthalenesulfonic acid (salt), alkyl naphthalenesulfonic acid (salt) and an aromatic compd. contg. a hydrophilic group as the essential component of a cement dispersant. CONSTITUTION:(a) Naphthalenesulfonic acid, alkyl naphthalenesulfonic acid, formalin condensate thereof or salts thereof arc allowed to react with (b) an aromatic compd. having a hydrophilic group by oxidative polymerization. A slump loss-prevention type cement dispersant is produced by incorporating the obtained oxidative copolymer as an essential component. As the component (b), a benzene derivative and a naphthalene derivative are shown which have one or more kinds of hydrophilic group such as hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, amino group and sulfo group. The oxidative copolymer is obtained by oxidative polymerization reaction due to metallic oxide such as e.g. permanganate.
