Disclosed herein is a hair dye composition comprising (A) benzyloxyethanol and/or benzyl alcohol, (B) propylene carbonate and (C) an acid dye and having a pH of 2.0 to 6.0. The composition has excellent hair-dyeing ability and good fastness to shampoo.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a second agent composition for hair dyeing or hair bleaching, excellent in preservation stability and mixing property with a first agent, without dripping on applying to the hair after the mixing, not sticky, excellent in extensibility and having a good compatibility with the hair and excellent in bleaching property. SOLUTION: This second agent for hair-dyeing or hair-bleaching, used by mixing with the first agent composition containing an alkaline agent is provided by containing the following components (a) to (c): (a) 10 to 50 wt.% of oily component; (b) the total of 2 to 18 wt.% of (b 1 ) a cationic surfactant and (b 2 ) a non-ionic surfactant; and (c) 0.1 to 12 wt.% of an oxidant based on hydrogen peroxide. Further, the agent contains 3 to 12 wt.% of a higher alcohol (a 1 ) at least being solid in a normal temperature as the component (a) and having the weight ratio of (b 1 )/(b 2 ) in the range of 0.1 to 10 and the weight ratio of the (a 1 )/(b 2 ) in the range of 0.5 to 5. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair dye composition excellent in dye-affinity to hair and good in fastness against shampooing by including a specific two kinds of organic solvents and an acid dye and specifying the pH value. SOLUTION: This hair dye composition contains 0.1-50 wt.%, preferably 1-50 wt.%, more preferably 5-50 wt.% mixture of (A) benzyloxyethanol and/or benzyl alcohol, and (B) propylene carbonate, (C) 0.001-5 wt.%, preferably 0.001-4.5 wt.%, more preferably 0.001-4 wt.% acid dye (e.g. black No.401) and, optionally (D) 0.1-10 wt.%, preferably 0.5-5 wt.% water-soluble polymer (e.g. hydroxyethylcellulose), (E) a lower alcohol or a lower polyol and (F) a surfactant, a cationic polymer, an oily component, a silicone derivative, a perfume or the like, and is regulated so as to have a pH value of 2.0-6.0, preferably 2.0-5.0, more preferably 2.5-4.5.

PURPOSE:To obtain a hair dyeing cosmetic containing a cationic surfactant, etc., a saccharide-based nonionic surfactant and an oxidation dye, capable of gradually making white hair inconspicuous by repeatedly using, providing brightness to black hair by dyeing black hair and excellent in coloring power and conditioning effect. CONSTITUTION:This cosmetic contains (A) preferably 0.01-10wt.% of a cationic surfactant (e.g. lauryl trimethylammonium chloride) or an amine oxide-based surfactant (e.g. lauryldimethylamine oxide) nonionic surfactant, (B) preferably 0.01-10wt.% of a saccharide-based nonionic surfactant (e.g. an alkylsaccharidebased surfactant, a sugar mide-based surfactant or saccharide fatty acid ester-based surfactant) and (C) preferably 0.08-2wt.% of an oxidation dye (preferably black No. 401, purple No. 401, orange No. 205, yellow No. 403, red No. 106).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment protector to prevent adhesion of a hair treatment agent on skin and clothes and make the protector easy to wear, by equipping an absorptive body to absorb and retain the hair treatment agent onto a fitting band part and making the absorptive body extensible/contractible in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: A fitting band part has a ring shape with an inner diameter fittable around a head part and a vertical section structure with a surface sheet 6 placed so as to surround an absorptive body 4 in the central part. The surface of the fitting band part is constituted of a surface sheet 6, and a skin contact face 2b to surround a user's head is also constituted of the surface sheet 6. The absorptive body 4 absorbs hair treatment agent from a skin non- contact face 2a except for the skin contact face 2b and can retain the absorbed hair treatment agent inside for at least a prescribed time. A strip elastic member 5 is place in the circumference direction of the fitting band part to make the fitting band part extended/contracted by the elastic force of an elastic member 5. The elastic member 5 is equipped around the whole circumference of the fitting band part between the absorptive body 4 in the fitting band part and the surface sheet 6.

SOLUTION: This dye removing agent comprises the following components (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E): (A) 0.05-10 wt.% of a cationic surfactant represented by the following formula (1) [wherein, at least one of R1, R2, R3 and R4 denotes a straight-chain or branched chain 20-36C alkyl group or 20-36C hydroxyalkyl group or benzyl group; the balance denotes a 1-3C alkyl group or a 1-3C hydroxyalkyl group; and X denotes a halogen atom or a 1-2C alkylsulfate group], (B) 0.1-40 wt.% of one or more kinds of organic solvents selected from an N-alkylpyrrolidone, a lower alkylene carbonate and an aromatic alcohol, (C) 0.1-50 wt.% of a lower alcohol, (D) 0.01-10 wt.% of an alkali component and (E) 0.1-20 wt.% of a thickener.
