    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aerosol composition good in incompatibility between its stock solution and jetting agent, excellent in feel of touch when e.g. applied to skin or hairs, and good in stable preservability. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a copolymer having a cationic group and crosslinked structure in its molecule, wherein the hydrogel with 0.5 wt.% of the copolymer has a viscosity η1 at 25 deg.C at shear rate of 1 sec-1 and a viscosity η2 at 25 deg.C at shear rate of 10 sec-1, and wherein the viscosities of η1 and η2 meet with the equations of 0.3 η2, and (B) an jetting agent.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition excellent in conditioning effect, effective for protecting hair from being damaged by ultraviolet light rays, containing a quaternary ammonium salt type surfactant, an oily substance and a water-soluble ultraviolet light absorber. SOLUTION: This hair conditioner composition contains 0.01-10wt.% of a quaternary ammonium salt type surfactant (e.g. stearyltrimethylammonium chloride), 0.5-10wt.% of an oily substance (e.g. silicone oil) and 0.05-5wt.% of a water-soluble ultraviolet light absorber (e.g. 5-benzoyl-4-hydroxy-2- methoxybenzenesulfonic acid). The composition comprises further a nonionic surfactant by blending the nonionic surfactant with the cationic surfactant and the amount of the nonionic surfactant is 0.5-5wt.%. The composition is blended with an amphoteric surfactant. The composition is further mixed with a cationic polymer and a polysiloxane preferably in terms of combing properties and touch. The composition is preferably used as an aqueous emulsion and a dispersion. Further, the aqueous emulsion and the dispersion can be used as an aerosol or a foamy aerosol by using an inert gas.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare an antistatic aerosol which has an excellent antistatic effect at a low humidity on a fiber treated therewith, causes little degradation in color fastness of the fiber, is excellent in drying rate and emits a weak alcoholic odor by compounding a specific salt of a phosphoric ester as the major component and a solvent comprising a mixture of water and ethanol. CONSTITUTION:A compd. of the formula (wherein R is 1-6C linear or branched alkyl; R1 is 2-3C alkylene; and m is 0-5) (e.g. ethyl cellosolve or ethyl carbitol) is reacted with phosphoric acid to give a phosphoric ester. Acid groups remaining unreacted in the resulting phosphoric ester are neutralized to give an org. or inorg. salt of the ester as the major component of an antistatic agent. 2-8wt.% said salt is dissolved or dispersed in a solvent comprising 6-45wt.% water and 25-75wt.% ethanol, and then mixed with a propellant comprising dimethyl ether, etc., to give an antistatic aerosol esp. suitable for antistatic treatment of fiber.
