    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyvinyl alcohol film having good releasability, low shrinkage and excellent surface appearance by using a composition prepared by mixing a polyvinyl alcohol with a specified amount of an imidazolium salt cationic surfactant. CONSTITUTION:The film is made from a composition comprising 100 pts.wt. polyvinyl alcohol and 0.01-3.0 pts.wt. imidalization salt cationic surfactant. A desirable example of the polyvinyl alcohol is an anion-modified polyvinyl alcohol of an average degree of polymerization of 500-3000, obtained by saponifying a copolymer essentially consisting of vinyl acetate and a vinyl monomer having an anionic group.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obviate a clogging of a detergent and a liquid drip generated in a powder detergent and a liquid detergent by determining automatically the quantity of feed water and the number of pieces of tablet type detergents in accordance with the quantity of the gashing, and throwing in automatically the tablet type detergents of the number of pieces after pouring water. CONSTITUTION:When clothes to be washed are thrown into a washing tank and dehydrating tank 13, a weight sensor 1 provided on the lower part of an outer tank 14 operates, senses weight of the clothes to be washed, and determines the water quantity and the number of pieces of tablet type detergents corresponding thereto. From a processing circuit 3, the optimal water quantity and the optimal number of pieces of detergents are sent as a signal to a controller 4, and the controller 4 sends a signal to a feed water valve driving means 5, and water is fed until the optimal water quantity is obtained. When it is confirmed that it becomes an optimal water level, a feed water valve 6 is closed, based on a signal of the controller 4. Subsequently, the controller 4 sends the optimal number of pieces of detergents as a signal to a detergent throw-in device driving means 8, and after it is confirmed that the necessary number of pieces of detergents are thrown in, a signal is sent to a pulsator driving means 7 by the controller 4, the pulsator 12 rotates, and the washing process is started.

CONSTITUTION:A tablet detergent containing a nonionic surfactant as a primary surfactant and hydroxypropylcellulose. The weight ratio of the surfactant to the hydroxypropylcellulose is 5:1 to 1:5. A preferable nonionic surfactant is a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether of a 12-18C straight-chain or branched primary or secondary alcohol with an average number of added ethylene oxide molecules of 4 to 18.
