    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a consumption power amount of a refrigerator and to reduce a cost by forming the refrigerator in structure and a device where a solar battery can be effectively utilized. SOLUTION: By installing a solar battery 18 at an upper part in the vicinity of an adjusting means 17 for a temperature in the refrigerator situated in a door 14 at the front of a refrigerator body 13, light can be received from indoor illumination without being disturbed by an obstacle in a range that usage is not damaged, and a part of a consumption power for a refrigerator can be reduced. Further, to concentrate an electric circuit to the door 14, electric wiring can be simplified.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having double swinging doors in which nonuniformity of temperature is suppressed in the storage compartment and dew formation is prevented on a rotary partition while reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: Inside of a refrigerator body 50 is sectioned by means of a partition 97 to provide a refrigeration compartment 56 at the upper part and first and second double swinging doors 66A, 66B provided at the front opening of the refrigeration compartment 56 are sealed with a rotary partition 68. In such a refrigerator, a chill outlet duct 87 and a chill inlet duct 98 are provided, respectively, in the top face and bottom face of the refrigeration compartment 56. A chill outlet 89 opening to the front of the chill outlet duct 87 and the chill outlet 99 of the chill inlet duct opening in front of the partition 97 are arranged to keep away from the vicinity of the rotary partition 68 thus preventing dew formation on the periphery of the rotary partition 68 while keeping a correct indoor temperature distribution. Furthermore, power can be saved because duty factor of a heater 107 in the rotary partition 68 is varied depending on the set position of a refrigeration compartment temperature regulating means 108.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive a complete gasification of a refrigerant even upon starting after defrosting, and hence improve reliability of a compressor by providing a trap on a piping extending between an accumulator for completely gasifying a liquid refrigerant which has not completely vaporized in an evaporator and the compressor. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerator includes a compressor 1 for compressing a refrigerant, a condenser 2 for cooling a refrigerator for condensation thereof, a capillary tube 3, an evaporator 4 for vaporizing the liquid refrigerant, and an accumulator 5 for completely gasifying the liquid refrigerant which has not vaporized in the evaporator 4. A trap 7 is provided between the accumulator 5 and the compressor 1. Upon defrosting a refrigerant converted to gas in the evaporator 4 is again liquefied in a piping extending between the evaporator 4 and the accumulator 5 and flows into the accumulator 5 so that the liquid refrigerant returns to the compressor 1 in the form of a liquid refrigerant upon the compressor 1 being started, and it is thereupon changed in phase to a complete gas refrigerant owing to abrupt expansion thereof in the trap 7 and is returned to the compressor 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To make it possible to shorten a time for returning to predetermined temperatures of a freezing chamber and refrigerating chamber after service interruption by a method wherein the number of rotation of a blast fan is reduced for a preset period of time when both of the refrigerating chamber temperature and a room temper ature are higher than a set temperature immediately after throwing power supply while a pressure is higher than an upper limit set pressure after a predetermined period of time has elapsed. CONSTITUTION: When power is supplied, and the operation of a compressor 6 and a blast fan 9 are started, and when the detecting temperature of a room temperature sensor 16 as well as the detecting temperature of a refrigerating chamber temperature sensor 11 are higher than set values thereof immediately after the starting of the operation of the compressor 6 and the blast fan 9, or when the detecting pressure of a pressure detecting means 25 is higher than an upper limit value after a predetermined time has elapsed, or under a condition that the input load of the compressor 6 is excessive, a control circuit 27 reduces the number of rotation of the blast fan 9 and such a condition is maintained until a preset time is elapsed. Accordingly, the returning time of an inside temperature to a predetermined temperature will never be elongated after the energization is restarted whereby effects on stored foodstuff can be reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To speed up the return to a specified temperature of a freezer chamber and refrigerator chamber after a power failure by a method wherein when temperature sensors of a freezer chamber and condenser detect a set temperature or higher right after turning-on of a power, if an upper limit set pressure or higher is detected after a specified period of time has passed, the revolution number of a blowing fan is reduced for a period of time which is set in advance. CONSTITUTION: When both a detected temperature of a condenser temperature sensor 28 and a detected temperature of a freezer chamber temperature sensor 11 are set values or higher, i.e., it is detected that the outside air temperature is high, and the cooling is not done yet, after a specified period of time has passed after the detection, it is judged whether a detected pressure of a pressure- detecting means 25 is at an upper limit set value or higher or not. Then, the detected pressure is less than the upper limit set value, a normal control is performed. When the detected pressure is the upper limit set value or higher, i.e., under a state wherein an input load to a compressor (b) is too large, a current quantity which is connected to a blowing fan 9 by a control circuit 27 is reduced, and the revolution number of the blowing fan 9 is reduced, and that state is maintained until a previously set period of time passes.
