    Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily prepare high dispersive magnetic paint by drying oxyhydroxide iron or iron oxide, or surfacemodified oxyhydroxide iron or iron oxide in the state flocculated in liquid. CONSTITUTION:Oxyhydroxide iron or iron oxide, or surfacemodified oxyhydroxide iron or iron oxide is suspended in liquid. Then, hydrogen ion concentration of suspension is so controlled as to become suspended flocculation range to be flocculated, and then dried. Then, it is converted to ferromagnetic iron fine particles by vapor contact reducting reaction with reducing gas. Thus, the secondary coagulation lump strength of the magnetic fine particles in ferromagnetic metal fine particles are much weakened. Accordingly, the fluidity of organic solvent slurry is very improved to extremely accelerate paint dispersion.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable to make high density of magnetic recording medium by a method wherein acicular ferromagnetic cementite particulates are made as a main constituent. CONSTITUTION:Acicular ferro-hydroxide particulates are prepared and are designated as acicular ferromagnetic reduced iron powder class by adhesion and denaturalization, sintering and reduction process and secondly, acicular ferromagnetic iron carbide particulates of Fe3C is designated as molecular species by carbonization process. According to the working of this ferromagnetic particulates, particle's size, which is indicated by the same Hc value as the particulates mentioned later, can be designed in fully small in comparison with alpha-Fe particulates. Moreover, even if said particulates are contained carbon more than stoichometry, as Fe3C is formed as a molecular species, saturated magnetization is not lowered largely. This face is extremely favarorable. As a result of this fact, the system which magnetic property is hardly changed, can be realized using particulates system being microminiaturized as raw material powder at the time of medium processing work.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simply prepare the ferromagnetic metal particle with excellent oxidation stability having a strong coating and no deterioration by ageing or no reoxidation by forming the coating consisting of Ni and iron oxide on a surface of the ferrous ferromagnetic metal powder for magnetic recording. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of the fine metal particle with a particle size of 0.1-1mum comprising Fe or containing Fe as a main component used in the magnetic recording such as a magnetic tape, a composite coating with a thickness of 100Angstrom or less having a layer such as Ni or a nickel oxide, a nickel salt or a nickel-containing org. compound in an outer side thereof and an iron oxide coating in an inner side thereof is formed. Or, on a surface of a fine powder of Fe or a metallic oxide or a metallic oxide hydrate based on Fe, Ni or a nickel compound is coated so as control a value of Ni/Fe ratio to 0.005-0.05. The resulting particle or powder is heated in a reductive atmosphere based on hydrogen to reduce the iron oxide. Thereby, the ferromagnetic metal powder having a peel free strong coating and being free from reoxidation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To bond a metallic heating element to an insulating layer firmly to improve flexibility and heat resistance by coating one side surface or both side surfaces of a metallic heating element with thermoplastic and nonthermoplastic polyimide layers. CONSTITUTION: Polyamic acid, or a polyamic acid solution or polyimide solution, having a polyimide containing ratio of 5-40wt.% and a B type viscosity (room temperature) of 10-1000cps, are applied to one side surface or both the side surfaces of a metallic heating element wherein a fine line circuit 11 is formed on at least one kind of metallic foil selected from stainless steel foil, iron-nickel alloy foil, nickel-chromium alloy foil, copper-nickel alloy foil, and aluminum foil, having a thickness of 5-150μm respectively, to be dried at 110-160 deg.C for 0.5-60 minutes. Then varnish for generating nonthermoplastic polyimide is applied thereto to be dried at 110-160 deg.C for 0.5-60 minutes, and then is heated at 150-600 deg.C for 0.5-60 minutes to be hardened to form an insulating layer 41 having a thickness of 1-200μm composed of thermoplastic and nonthermoplastic polyimide layers 21 and 31.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a laminated plate having high dielectric breakdown voltage without thickness irregularity of a polyimide layer while maintaining excellent characteristics of a polyimide by transferring a coating liquid to a base material while supporting the material by a front guide roll, a coating roll and a rear guide roll. CONSTITUTION: A coating liquid raised by a coating roll 1 is metered by a doctor roll 2 at a kiss type roll coater, transferred to a base material 11 supported by the roll 1 and front and rear guide rolls 5, 6 and coated. The liquid is metered on a gravure roll with respect to a kiss type gravure roll and a kiss type reverse gravure roll, transferred to the material supported by the coating roll and front and rear guide rolls, and coated. The tension of the material in the coating step is preferably held in the range of 0.02 to 1.5kg/cm.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the forming process such as drilling and improve the forming accuracy by forming a printed circuit through a thermoplastic polyimide layer and chemically etching this layer and, at least, a part of a polyimide film to be a base. CONSTITUTION:Circuits are formed such that an alkali-resistive and ultraviolet- setting type resist ink is applied on both sides of a metal foil-polyimide laminate board composed of a polyimide film 14, thermoplastic polyimide layers 16 and 17 laminated on the film 14 and metal foil layers 11' and 12' laminated on the layers 16 and 17, respectively, and both sides of the laminate board are exposed to light. Those parts of the thermoplastic polyimide layers and polyimide film which are not coated with the resist ink and exposed by the etching of the metal foils are etched off by a polyimide etching liq. and the hardened resist ink is peeled by a resist ink peeling liq. Thus, a fine and high-precision machining can be made.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain fine goethite having a uniform distribution of particle size by supplying a solution of ferrous salt and alkali aq. solution to a gas-liquid mixing reaction chamber of bubble tower type, and alternately introducing oxidative gas for oxidation and nonoxidative gas for mixing into the tower to effect oxidation reaction. CONSTITUTION:A solution of ferrous salt (e.g. aq. solution of ferrous sulfate) and alkali aq. solution (e.g. aq. solution of sodium hydroxide) are supplied through a feeder 3 for neutralization reaction into a gas-liquid mixing reaction chamber 10 of cylindrical shape equiped with air feeder 1 and perforated plate 2 in the lower part of the tower. Then by switching a switch valve 4, oxidative gas (e.g. air) for oxidation from a tube 5 and nonoxidative gas (e.g. nitrogen) for mixing from a tube 6 are alternately introduced to the tower to effect oxidation reaction. The obtd. goethite has >=m /g specific surface area which satisfies the performance as the magnetic recording material for high definition television.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain metal powder characterized by uniform fine particles, excellent configuration holding effect, excellent stability for oxidation with air and moisture, and excellent pigment dispersing property and orientation as paint and to improve the durability of a magnetic recording medium by providing the metal powder wherein Fe is a main component and the contents of CO, Ni, A, and Si are specified. CONSTITUTION:In metal powder, Fe is a main component, and CO Ni, Al and Si are contained. The contents of CO, Ni, Af and Si in weight patio in terms of Fe are determined in the following ranges; CO/Fe=0.05-0.5, Ni/Fe =0.005-0.1, Al/Fe=0.01-0.1 and Si/Fe=0. 0005-0.02. In this way, hyperfine particles having excellent uniformity are obtained. Excellent magnetic property is provided. Stability in oxidation with air and moisture is high. When paint is formed of a mixed system with a resin for obtaining a magnetic recording body, dispersing property and the magnetic field orientation are excellent. Durability against friction with a magnetic head becomes excellent in utilization as the magnetic recording medium.
