PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a client to request, receive and reproduce music piece data stored in a server. SOLUTION: A client program 421 controls transmission of request signals to the server 401, receiving and reproducing processings of the music piece data from the server 401 and display of a GUI by a display control part 426, and in the case that a communication part 423 receives the music piece data of a prescribed format from the server 401, makes the received music piece data be outputted to a sound data conversion part 424. A server program 411 controls the transmission of the music piece data to the client 402 and registration of information of a music piece data base 415 and a ranking information data base 417 and the like, and in the case of receiving input of the request signals from the client 402, retrieves the requested music piece data from the music piece data base 415 by referring to a link information data base 416 and the ranking information data base 417 and transmits them to the client 402.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit the data of only a bridge part (characteristic part) in music to a client and to transmit the whole music data when a user likes that music. SOLUTION: On a music data list, music ID uniquely assigned to music, address information presenting leading positions, where music data are recorded, and the reproduction starting position information of music data are described. When any music data are requested, first of all, while referring to the reproduction starting position information, music data are transmitted to the client so as reproduce music not from the beginning of that music but from a position such as so-called 'bridge' or climax part easy to know what music is being reproduced and easiest to grasp the image of music. Afterwards, when the listener likes that music and performs operation for instructing the reproduction from the beginning of music, a request requiring the whole music data is inputted and on the basis of the address information presenting the leading position, entire music data are transmitted to the client.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add an index not to a time point of moving images but to a partial section of the moving images by a simple operation during imaging of the moving images.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises: a display control part which displays moving images on a display part; an object recognition part which, when a position detection part for detecting a position where an operating body is brought into contact with or approaches the display part detects the position, recognizes an object in the moving images corresponding to the position; and a section setting part which, in response to the detection of the position, sets as an index section the section of the moving image including a time point when the position is detected, the section of the moving images including the object recognized by the object recognition part.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a moving image to be reproduced in accordance to various types of requests from a user.SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 associates a favorite degree specified on the basis of a user input with each of a predetermined time interval of a moving image under recording to store them in a storage part 27. In addition, a graph GL 1 indicating change in the specified favorite degree for the predetermined time interval is displayed together with the moving image. Therefore, a portion which the favorite degree specified on the user input is associated with can be extracted and reproduced, and only allowing a user to change the specification to change the extracted portion to other desired portion to reproduce it. In this way, the information processor can make a digital image signal processing part 23 reproduce the moving image in accordance with various types of requests from a user.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present an image pickup position, when a moving image is picked up and the contents of the moving image picked up, at each image pickup position associated with each other.SOLUTION: The image processing device includes a map image generation portion that generates a map image, in which a trajectory line indicating the movement trajectory of the image pickup position is drawn on a map, based on image pickup position information indicating the plurality of image pickup positions of the moving images picked up while moving an image pickup device; a display control portion that causes a display portion to display the map image; and a position detecting portion that detects a position at which an operating body is brought into contact with, or brought close to the display screen of the display portion. The position detecting portion detects a point on the trajectory line specified by the operating body, and based on the image pickup position information, the display control portion causes a thumbnail image of the moving image picked up, at the image pickup position corresponding to the detected point to be displayed on the map image.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by changing folders through an easy operation and matching changing operations for folders and images to a conceptual model of a user. SOLUTION: In a screen ST1, a choice of a folder F1 is displayed with icons indicative of the folder F1. Image files P11 and P12 are reproduced images having been photographed. In a display frame SC, a photographed image R of a current subject, the files P11 and P12, and the icons of the folder F1 are displayed together. A user depresses a "down" button of a cross key 27 so as to change the folder F1 to the folder F2. Once the down button is depressed with the picture ST1, the screen changes to a screen ST3 via a screen ST2. In the screen ST2, numbers in icons are changed to display a state, where the folders are switched over. SOLUTION: Icon 531-7 corresponding to a "recommendation music" station in which push-distributed data is registered, is added to a station display screen displayed in a client. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an editing work advanced more than before by a single imaging apparatus such as a digital still camera. SOLUTION: Since an image is displayed as a layout setting object image 101 for the background image as a canvas in case of a canvas photography mode, a shutter button is operated after altering/setting its position or size arbitrarily. Consequently, the layout setting object image 101 is displayed fixedly as a layout decision image 103 on the canvas. A new layout setting object image 101 is thereby displayed on the canvas and positioned fixedly as the layout decision image 103 by altering the position and size in similar procedure and operating the shutter button. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present an imaging position when imaging a dynamic image and contents of the dynamic image imaged at each imaging position to a user while associating them with each other.SOLUTION: There is provided an image processing device comprising: a map screen generation unit generating a map screen in which a locus line representing a movement locus of an imaging position is drawn on a map on the basis of imaging position information representing a plurality of imaging positions of a dynamic image imaged while moving an imaging device; a display controller displaying the map screen on a display part; and a position detector detecting a position where an operation body contacts with or approaches to a display screen of the display part. The position detector detects a point on the locus line designated by the operation body. The display controller displays a thumbnail image for the dynamic image imaged at the imaging position corresponding to the detected point, on the map screen on the basis of the imaging position information.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely present a content of a recorded moving image to a user when memory of the user just after imaging of the moving image is clear.SOLUTION: The information processor includes: a recording control section for controlling recording of a moving image which is continuously imaged in a recording period from a recording start instruction to a recording end instruction in a recording medium; a thumbnail generation control section for generating a plurality of thumbnail images which represent the respective sections obtained by time-dividing the moving image; and a display control section which allows a display section to display a confirmation screen after the recording in which the plurality of thumbnail images are arranged in accordance with a time series.
