Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the portable disk drive in which the deformation of a disk is prevented when an external impact is applied and the damages to the disk and various constituting members in a casing are prevented. SOLUTION: A magnetic disk 200 is arranged in a casing 100. The disk 200 is rotatively driven by a spindle motor 160. Data recording and reproducing are conducted by the magnetic head held by a suspension 140 and sliders 130. A deformation amplitude controlling member 400 is provided to a chassis 100A of the casing 100 to control the deformation range caused by an impact acceleration in the thickness direction of the disk 200 when an external impact is applied. The deformation of the disk 200 is controlled by control sections 410 and 420 of the member 400 so that the suspension 140 does not impact on the inner wall of the casing 100.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the dynamic pressure fluid bearing capable of more suppressing a rotary shake than heretofore. SOLUTION: A rotary thrust plate 115 is formed to be gradually thicker from the inner circumferential side to the outer circumferential side, and an upper surface 116a of a bearing part 116 to be opposite to a lower surface 115a of this rotary thrust plate 115 is formed to be flat surface. Consequently, a gap between the lower surface 115a of the rotary thrust plate 115 and the upper surface 116a of the bearing part 116 is gradually narrower toward the outer circumferential side. When the rotary thrust plate 115 is rotated, a lubricant fluid on the discoid surface is moved to the outer circumferential side, whereas since the gap with the bearing part 116 is narrower toward the outer circumferential side, the lubricant fluid is most compressed on the outermost circumferential side so that a dynamic pressure is generated. By this dynamic pressure of the lubricant fluid, a thrust load can be supported.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge scope for designing of each part, simplify constitution, and reduce cost by keeping a ramp outside of a disk cartridge loading part when loading and ejecting a disk cartridge. SOLUTION: A turning actuator 51 is doglegged. Suspensions 58a and 58b on the end of the actuator, and mounting plates 57a and 57b go in and out at almost right angles with respect to a head inserting slot 7, which makes it possible to minimize the width of the head inserting slot 7. Thus, the head inserting slot 7, from which dust is most liable to enter into a disk cartridge 1, can be minimized as far as possible to securely prevent or effectively control entering of dust.

Furthermore, the camera controller of the opposite party on the controller 6A is operated to switch the image pickup direction of the opposite party TV camera 3B and the video image of the opposite party person 11B, the video image on the paper material placing board 5B and a video image of other party 12 taking part in the conference are displayed on its own display device 4A. As a result, the image pickup direction of the TV camera is changed with simple configuration.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a recording medium tape from being damaged at the time of opening a front lid which protects the recording medium tape in nonuse. CONSTITUTION:A passing recessed part 13 for passing the lid opening member to be used for a miniature tape cassette is formed at the position corresponding to a tape outlet 6 at one side of the front end part on a bottom surface wall 14 of a cassette case 2. A blocking projection 29 to be fitted into the passing recessed part 13 is formed on the inside surface of the front lid 20 freely turnably supported by the front end part of the cassette case 2. Further, a rib 30, the rear edge of which is positioned in almost parallel with the magnetic tape 18 at the time of closing the lid, is projectingly provided on the inside surface of the front lid 20 in the state the rear edge 30a has no difference in level with the projecting end part 29b of the blocking projection 29. Even when there is the sag on the magnetic tape, the lower edge is relatively slid down along the rear edge of the rib and never caught by the blocking projection.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the automatic return of a cam pin in a cam mechanism suitable for rotating a tension arm with a tension regulator of a VTR by providing a return cam for returning the cam pin deviating from a gap or the like in a continuous part between a fixed cam and movable cam to the cam surface. CONSTITUTION:When a drive motor is rotated in one rotation in a popping-up type VTR, a slide chassis 3 slides through a gear train or the like toward the rotary head drum side and a cam pin 26 is moved along a first cam surface 24a of a fixed cam 22 to pivot a tension arm 9 counterclockwise. When the chassis 3 slides further and the cam pin 26 is moved along a second cam surface 24b to a position of a third cam surface 31 of a movable cam 23, the chassis 3 is stopped. Then, when the cam pin 26 is moved from the cam surfaces 24b to 31 and deviated from a gap 32 between both, the chassis 3 is returned so that the cam pin 26 can be returned to the second cam surface 24b by means of a return cam 27.
