    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a multi-head to be constituted by a simple structure by making positional precision between an electrostrictive vibrator and a cylindrical tube easy by a method wherein a plurality of cylindrical tubes are arranged at positions receiving pressure action of pressure generating parts formed by attaching an electrode to an electrostrictive vibrator or a magnetostrictive vibrator supported with a pedestal. CONSTITUTION:In order to assemble respective components, a number of glassy cylindrical tubes 5a composing a glass cylindrical tube line 5 are arranged in an adjacent state on a solid structured pedestal 10, and end faces on a front face side of respective cylindrical tubes 5a are so arranged as to be located on a same plane. An electrostrictive vibrator 2 is so arranged as to be put above the cylindrical tubes thus arranged uniform, and fixed lest an immoderate load should be applied. A gap among the vibrator 2, respective cylindrical tubes 5a composing the cylindrical tube line 5, and the pedestal 10 is filled by use of fillers being highly hard or the like around an ink chamber 7 so that the ink chamber 7 is hermetically sealed at that time. Since there is thus no necessity for strict registration of the electrostrictive or magnetostrictive vibrator to the cylindrical tube, assembling precision is not strictly requested and a manufacturing cost can be steeply reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet printer of the on-demand type wherein a nozzle is not clogged and maintenance is not required practically. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a liquid chamber 2 filled with carrier liquid 7, ink jet drive means 3,4 provided in the chamber 2, a nozzle 14 communicating with the chamber 2, and a mixing section 14 for mixing ink 9 into carrier liquid 7 provided near the nozzle 14. And the ink 9 is mixed with the carrier liquid 7 of the chamber 2 at the section 14 and the mixed liquid is pressurized by the drive means 3,4 and delivered from the nozzle 14. Since the nozzle 14 is always filled with the carrier liquid 7, the nozzle 14 is not clogged.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an overcharge/overdischarge preventive circuit having balanced capacity. CONSTITUTION:Overcharge detecting comparators COMP2, COMP4 having hysteresis circuits 1 and overdischarge detecting comparators COMP1, COMP3 having hysteresis circuits 2 are connected between positive and negative electrodes of secondary batteries Abat, Bbat connected in series. Transistors T5, T6 and a resistor R are connected between respective batteries for the purpose of overcharge overflow and overdischarge balance. When the COMP2 or COMP4 detects overcharge, a transistor T2 or T4 is turned OFF to interrupt charging current while at the same time a transistor T1 or T3 is turned ON to feed a charging current through a resistor R1 thus sustaining charging operation of battery on the side where overcharge is not detected. When the COMP2 and COMP4 detect overcharge simultaneously, a transistor T10 is turned OFF to interrupt charging current. Hysteresis circuits l, 2 balance overcharge and overdischarge.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify a structure of an ink jet head, multiply the heads, and gather multi-heads by forming an electrostrictive vibrator of ink jet heads into a comb-like shape and arranging the toothed part in an ink chamber so as to be integrated. CONSTITUTION:Each toothed part 2a of a comb-like electrostrictive vibrator 2 of ink jet heads 1 is arranged in a position just under an orifice 5d and a partition wall 5a of an outer frame 5 and the oscillator 2 are fixed by adhesion or compression bonding so as to be integrated. After ink is extruded, ink grains 10 left outside the orifice 5d are extruded in an ejected state and continue flying, for example, in the direction of a recording paper. In an ink chamber 5b, the ink reduces by a volume of the ejected ink grains 10, so that an ink quantity equivalent to the reduced quantity is replenished from an ink supply passage 5e and a state of the ink chamber 5b filled with the ink is restored. Such an operation is repeated in the individual ink chamber 5b of the multiplied head 1, so that desired ink grains 10 can be ejected selectively and continuously.

After that, let the second pressure applying means perform a discharging action from a steady state so as to discharging a certain amount of the medium and the discharging medium under the state being mixed together. Further, after the end of the pushing out action of the first pressure applying means, the discharging action of the second pressure applying means is brought to an end.

To the scanning direction of the printing head 1 of the printer, fixing liquid for forming dye accepting layer is delivered. At the position positionally corresponding one to one with the ink nozzle 6, a fixing liquid head 10 equipped with a fixing nozzle 9 is provided. By delivering fixing liquid drops having nearly the same shapes of the ink liquid drops from the fixing liquid head 10, dye accepting layer is formed. Further, at the downstream side in the paper-feeding direction of the heads 1 and 10, a heater 11 including a lamp 11a is provided as the drying means of the ink and fixing liquid delivered from the respective heads 1 and 10.

Then, the opening 27 is pushed to open by the pressure of bubbles which are generated by the heating of the heater 3, and an ink 11 is mixed with the transparent solvent 28.
