Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict pouring mark after pouring fluorescent slurry by specifying a composition. SOLUTION: A preprocessing composition is made of powder, polyvinyl alcohol, ammonium dichromate, surfactant, and water. Specifically, zinc sulfide is used for the powder, and weight percentages of the ingredients are, in the order of the above enumeration, 25%, 2.5%, 0.1%, and 0.2%, is weight and the remainder, and the mixture is uniformly mixed. The obtained slurry is extended over a panel of a CRT, developed, and dried. When fluorescent material slurry is poured, dripped, and dried, and when the formed coating surface is visually observed, improvement up to a favorable level is recognized in that almost no pouring mark is found.

SOLUTION: In the case of manufacturing a carbon stripe and three-color fluorescent material stripe, a fluorescent screen stripe 2 is formed in the direction Y relating to the internal surface of a panel 1, a developer nozzle row 3 arranged in the direction Z relating to the surface of the panel 1 is opposed. The nozzle row 3 is moved in the direction Y by a nozzle row vertical motion mechanism part 4. The fixed panel 1 and the nozzle row 3 opposed in the direction Z with a fixed space are moved in the direction Y, scanning of developer is performed. By controlling this moving speed, a developing time is made uniform, since an injection direction of the developer is in the same direction to the stripe 2, the amount of liquid traversing the stripe 2 is reduced, the stripe edge is improved. Further, even when the picture plane shape is formed laterally long, it can sufficiently correspond.

SOLUTION: A total surface exposure is performed in a condition where the skirt part 8 of a cathode-ray tube panel 6 is shaded. For this purpose, a total surface exposure device is used, which has a shading plate 3 for shading light to the skirt part 8 of a set cathode-ray tube panel 6, and a shade body moving mechanism 5 for relatively moving the plate 3 to the panel 6 along the vertical direction of the panel 6.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of unevenness of color by discharging the curing agent from a discharging nozzle in nearly parallel with the inner surface of a panel. CONSTITUTION: A discharging nozzle 10 as a curing agent coating device is formed into the L-shape, and the curing agent is discharged in nearly parallel with the inner surface of a panel 8. The inner diameter of the discharging nozzle 10 is set at the predetermined size width than that of the conventional one. Consequently, when the tannic acid solution as the curing agent is supplied through a hose 12 connected to the nozzle 10, the tannic acid solution is discharged from the tip of the nozzle 10 in nearly parallel with the inner surface of the panel 8. The tannic acid solution discharged from the nozzle 10 is jetted in parallel, and dropped by the self-weight, but it is dispersed in the process, and width of the curing agent at the time when the curing agent is adhered to the inner surface of the panel, namely, the initial adhesion width is widened. Consequently, the initial adhesion area is widened to 80-300cm , and unevenness of the hardening speed is reduced.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device is equipped with a light source that irradiates light, a light guide plate diffusing the light from the light source; and a reflecting material disposed on the back face of the light guide plate and reflecting the light diffused by the liquid guide plate, and is provided with a gap-holding member on at least one of the light guide plate and the reflecting material, the member preventing adhesion between the light guide plate and the reflecting material. As a result, adhesion between a reflecting sheet and the light guide plate can be prevented, the occurrence of luminance unevenness is suppressed, even if the device is influenced by the humidity or the temperature.

SOLUTION: In this color cathode-ray tube, a weight ratio of a pigment to a adhesive is 5:1 to 15:1 in its color stripes 14. Because the weight ratio is not more than 15:1, the rate of the pigment is not excessively high and carbon stripes 12 are hardly peeled from the inside surface of a panel 11 in forming color filter stripes 14. In addition, since the weight ratio is not less than 5:1, the rate of the pigment is not excessively low and the pigment is included in the color filter stripes 14 with a sufficient degree of filling.

The second correcting lens system 13 is constituted by changing an ultraviolet ray irradiating position correcting lens 12b of the first correcting lens system 12 to a lens 13b corresponding to deformation in heat drying of the panel part 3.
