After that, let the second pressure applying means perform a discharging action from a steady state so as to discharging a certain amount of the medium and the discharging medium under the state being mixed together. Further, after the end of the pushing out action of the first pressure applying means, the discharging action of the second pressure applying means is brought to an end.

Then, the equation is made to be satisfied with the focal lengths of the 1st and 2nd cylindrical lenses 5 and 6. Here, beta denotes the total magnifications of the multi-beam scanning optical device, f1 and f2 the focal lengths of the 1st and 2nd cylindrical lenses 5 and 6, F1 the focal length of the collimator lens 4, and F2 the focal length of the ftheta lens 8.

CONSTITUTION:Distance between a leftmost terminal position DL or rightmost terminal position DR and a deflecting point P, and distance between a center position DC and the deflecting point P can be conformed to each other by correcting only by difference (e) by moving a movable lens 4 linearly by the minimum quantity synchronizing with the rotation of the deflecting mirror 2. Thereby, it is possible to uniformalize the distance until a multibeam LA arrives at an image-forming point on the photosensitive material 1, and as a result, the multibeam with almost uniform image-forming rate can be image- formed on the photosensitive material 1. Therefore, the image-forming rate can be set equally even when the image-forming is performed at any position on the photosensitive material 1.

Consequently, the toner image is clearly displayed on the electrostatically recording medium 1, and clearly transferred onto the recording paper P. Thus, a toner image is stably adhered, thereby achieving sharp display and transfer.

The output signal and the signal of the 2nd local oscillation circuit 10 of (f2-f1)/2+ or -fi are mixed by a 2nd mixing circuit 9 to obtain an intermediate frequency signal fi even with the frequency of the 2nd local oscillation signal selected as (f2-f1)/2+fi (upper side heterodyne system) and even with the frequency of (f2-f1)/2-fi (lower side heterodyne system), and the intermediate frequency fi is always constant even when the carrier frequency is changed variously. Thus, the broadcast signal of the same content is received simultaneously even with different carrier frequencies f1, f2 for each broadcast station.
