    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an extremely fashionable bicycle which is colored/ discolored repeatedly because its wheels are colored as a photo chromic compound is sensed by ultra-violet rays when they are subjected to exterior sunshine, but they are discolored when they enter into the shade. CONSTITUTION:This invention is concerned with a ultra-violet ray sensitive resin wheel for a bicycle, which is injection molded out of more than one kind of thermal plastic resin selected from polyamide resin, polyester resin, resin in a polystyrene series, polycarbonate resin and resin in a polyolefine series, and has a photo chromic compound adhered on the surface of the wheel made of resin.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve shape stability and impact resistance of moldings, by blending an ethylene/glycidyl methacrylate copolymer, glass bead and glass fiber with a thermoplastic polyester. CONSTITUTION:1-30pts.wt. ethylene/glycidyl metharylate copolymer obtd. by copolymerizing glycidyl methacrylate with ethylene, 7-150pts.wt. glass bead having an average particle size of 50mum or below, pref. pretreaed with epoxysilane, and 1-10pts.wt. glass fiber of 0.2-1mm. in length, are blended with 100pts. wt. thermoplastic polyester such as polyethylene terephthate or polyethylene naphthalate to produce the desired resin compsn. for molding. The resulting compsn. is suitable for use in the production of precision molded articles for which high dimensional accuracy is required.
