    Abstract: PURPOSE:To recover efficiently unfiltered components, to simplify the structure of the apparatus, and to reduce the cost by providing a liquid nozzle for recovering the unfiltered components on the downstream side of an original liquid supply part oppositely to a filter cloth. CONSTITUTION:The original liquid contg. solid and liquid components is supplied over a filter cloth 1 from an original liquid supply tank 6. The greater part of the liquid component in the supplied original liquid is passed through the filter cloth 1 by gravity or a decompressing action given by a filtrate receiving tank 7, and collected in the filtrate receiving tank 7. The liquid component collected in the filtrate receiving tank 7 is discharged to the outside of the filter from a discharge port 17 of a seal pot 11. The so-called unfiltered component which does not pass through the filter cloth 1 is recovered from the surface of the filter cloth 1 by spouting the semifluid unfiltered component in a solid component receiving tank 10 from a recovery nozzle 8, and collected in the solid component receiving tank 10. The filter cloth 1 is passed through the positions of a drain roll 9 and a washing nozzle 14, and used again for the filtration.

    Abstract: A solid-liquid separating apparatus has: an endless filter cloth which is provided such as to be able to travel and turn in one direction and has a flocked filter layer on the surface thereof; a solid-liquid supply means provided on the face side of the filter cloth; a vacuum, suction means provided on the back side of the filter cloth such as to oppose the solid-liquid supply means; a non-filtered component collecting means provided on the downstream side of the solid-liquid supply means and the vacuum suction means with respect to the direction of travel of the filter cloth; and a filter cloth washing means provided on the downstream side of the non-filtered component collecting means with respect to the direction of travel of the filter cloth and between the non-filtered component collecting means and the solid-liquid supply means on one hand and the vacuum suction means on the other. The vacuum suction means has a vacuum suction port which opposes the back side of the filter cloth and diverges toward the traveling direction of the filter cloth. The vacuum suction port has, at least one filter cloth guide roll group on each of the right and left sides with respect to the direction of travel of the filter cloth. Each of the filter cloth guide rolls constituting each of the filter cloth guide roll groups on the right and left sides is directed toward the outside in the direction of travel of the filter cloth. The solid-liquid separating apparatus makes it possible to minimize the damage to the filter cloth by the vacuum suction means without reducing the solid-liquid separating performance and throughput capacity, so that it is possible to greatly increase the life of the filter cloth.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a rational water treatment by connecting filter machines of the same mechanism in multiple stages and using such machines. SOLUTION: The plural rotary drum type filter machines (1a and b) having fluffed cloth as filter media 2a, 2b are juxtaposed in a liquid flow direction. The filtrate outlet pipe (5a) of the filter machine on an upstream side and the original liquid supplying pipe (4b) on the downstream side of the filter machine are connected. The filtrate of the upstream side filter machine is supplied as the original liquid for the downstream side filter machine, by which the filtration is repeated and the solids in the original liquid are removed. The downstream side filter drum 4b is preferably maintained at the number of revolutions which do not exceed 1/2.5 the number of revolutions of the upstream side filter drum (4a) between the adjacent filter machines.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the solid-liq. separation capacity of the title separator by washing off the cake collected by the drum filter cloth with a spray from the outside of the filter drum, recovering the cake in a hopper in the drum, and specifying the elongation percentage of the filter cloth. CONSTITUTION:A liq. for recovering the cake collected on the filter cloth 20 is injected toward the filter cloth 20 from the spraying means 25 and 27 arranged outside the filter drum 14 in opposition to the filter cloth 20. The cake washed off by the recovering liq. is recovered in the recovery hopper means 29 and 30 provided in the drum 14. When the elongation percentage Ts of the filter cloth is defined as Ts=[(X-200)/200]X100, the Ts is controlled to at least 1.0%. In the equation, X is the distance between the two points of the test cloth cut out from the filter cloth material and having 250mm length and 30mm width when the load of 12kqf is applied to the test cloth and kept for 90 min, the two points are previously marked under the conditions where the initial load of 100gf is applied on the test cloth, and the distance is controlled to 200mm.

CONSTITUTION:The titled separation apparatus is equipped with a solid-containing liquid discharge means consisting of a solid-containing liquid level adjusting tank 9 having a slid-containing liquid flooding weir 8 higher than a slid-containing liquid supply flooding weir 7, a solid-containing liquid discharge tank 14 connected to the above mentioned solid-containing liquid level adjusting tank 9 in the side of the above mentioned solid-containing liquid discharge flooding weir 8 and a solid-containing liquid discharge pipe. As a result, when the treatment capacit of the solid-containing liquid becomes low by the lowering in the function of filter cloth 1, the level of the solid-containing liquid in the solid-containing liquid level adjusting tank 9 rises. Then, the solid-containing liquid is flooded from the discharge flooding weir 8 to be flowed in the solid-containing liquid discharge tank 14 and the flowed out of the apparatus from the discharge pipe 13 of said discharge tank 14. Therefore, even if the solid-containing liquid is excessively supplied and flooded over the solid-containing liquid level adjusting tank 9, the contamination of the apparatus thereby is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a solid-liquid separation apparatus capable of increasing the life of filter cloth by suppressing the damage of the filter cloth caused by a vacuum suction part without lowering solid-liquid separation capacity and treating capacity, constituted by arranging a plurality of filter cloth rolls so as to match the same with the shape of an unfolded fan to a suction port mounted in the shape of an unfolded fan in the running direction of the filter cloth. CONSTITUTION:A solid-liduid mixture 6 is supplied to filter cloth 1 running in an endless state toward a direction shown by the arrow and the liquid component thereof is collected in a filtrate receiving tank 8 through the filter cloth 1 by gravity and vacuum suction action applied to said tank 8. In the next step, the liquid component in the tank 8 is discharged out of a dehydrator from a discharge port 9 and the component on the filter cloth 1 is carried between a transfer drum 14 and a squeeze roll 15 with the running of the filter cloth 1 to obtain a solid component. Subsequently, the surface of the filter cloth 1 is washed by water spray nozzles 17, 18 and the liquid component due to washing is further squeezed off by a drain roll 9 to again subject the filter cloth 1 to dehydration. In this case, the suction port 7 of a vacuum suction part is formed into a shape of which the width is increased in the running direction of the filter cloth 1 and a plurality of filter cloth guide rolls 10 are arranged to the suction port 7 so as to be matched with the aforementioned shape of an unfolded fan.

In the method, at least the washing from the front side is carried out and stopped corresponding to the water level in the drum. This apparatus is provided with a rotation filtration drum 9 equipped with the filter medium 11, a back- washing means for jetting washing water from the rear side of the filter medium 11, a front-washing means for jetting washing water from the front side of the filter medium 11, and a switching control means for operating or stopping at least the front-washing means corresponding to the water level in the filtration drum 9.
