Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric which is useful for civil engineering (especially as a sheet for a tunnel) has good characteristics as the nonwoven fabric, is deformable according to the uneven surface of a fill or a bedrock, and has a good draining property, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This nonwoven fabric for civil engineering, produced by needle- punching a web comprising continuous filaments, characterized in that the relation of the tensile elongation Y(%) of the nonwoven fabric to the tensile elongation X(%) of the filaments constituting the nonwoven fabric satisfies the following expression: Y>=1.1X-4.5...(1), wherein 70 =3.49 CM/dtex. The method for producing the nonwoven fabric for engineering works, characterized by melt-spinning a thermoplastic resin, pulling the spun filaments at a high speed, collecting the filaments on a net to form a sheet, compressing the sheet with calender rolls, and then subjecting the compressed sheet to a needle-punching treatment.

The prepreg and the honeycomb material are pressurized with the application of heat, the resin of the prepreg is cured to form a skin and the skin and the honeycomb material are adhered one another to obtain a honeycomb sandwich panel.
