Abstract:
This laminated body is formed by laminating, in the following order, a base material (A), a carbon layer (B) having a carbon element as a main component, and a metal layer (C) having a copper element as a main component. For instance, the base material (A) is formed of a metal plate, and the carbon layer (B) is formed of an amorphous carbon layer having a thickness of 0.005-10 µm. The laminated body, which can be suitably used for the purpose of forming an electrode metal to be used in electronic apparatuses, and which has the metal layer to be the electrode easily formed on a circuit board by means of a transfer method, is provided with excellent cost performance.
Abstract:
A polyester film which is useful especially as a base film for magnetic recording media such as a cassette magnetic tape for the digital recording system. The film is produced by irradiating with ultraviolet a surface of a film which is in an unstretched stage or is being stretched to thereby form fine projections on the surface. In the film surface, the ratio of the ten-point average surface roughness Rz to the center-line average surface roughness Ra, Rz/Ra, is lower than 20. The film has a specific value of the ratio of the carboxyl group concentration in a surface part to that in an inner part, and further has the fine projections in a specific number.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thermoplastic resin sheet in which in a static electricity applying cast method using tape electrodes, the generation of the defect of electricity application nonuniformity in the sheet is prevented stably for a long time. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the sheet, when a thermoplastic resin is extruded from a nozzle into a sheet, and the sheet is made to adhere to a cooling drum by the static electricity applying cast method, cooled, and solidified for molding, an electrostatic charge is applied to the sheet by using the tape electrodes which have a rectangular cross section of a uniform form in the longitudinal direction and are made of stainless steel containing at least 10 wt.% of nickel.

SOLUTION: The objective polyester film comprises (A) polyester, (B) polyther-imide, and (C) and an aromatic polyamide where the components B and C are dispersed in the component A, so that they may have domain structure, preferably in an average particle size of

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester film having high strengths and excellent hot dimensional stability by blending a non-liquid crystal polyester with a copolyester having mesogenic groups in the main chain on condition that the copolyester used has a specified glass transition temperature. SOLUTION: The glass transition temperature of the copolyester used should be 75-110 deg.C. It is desirable that the copolyester polyester is one comprising structural units of formulae I, II, III, and IV. In formula II, R1 is formula V, formula VI, or the like. Although the copolymerization ratio is arbitrary, it is most desirably such that the structural units of formula I account for 40-85 mol% of the total structural units of formula I and formula II when the structural units are ones of formula I, III, and IV. It is desirable that the copolymerization amount of the mesogenic groups in the main chain of the copolyester is 5-95 mol%, the ratio of the melt viscosity of the non-liquid crystal polyester to that of the copolymer polyester is 5 or above, and the copolymer polyester content is 0.1-20 wt.%.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester film having little irregularities in thickness, particularly in the longitudinal direction, in high speed and productivity, by providing a composite of a polyester resin and an imide compound. SOLUTION: This film is obtained by providing a composite of a polyestar resin and an imide compound and by subjecting the composite to film formation while applying electrostatic charge to the composite after melted. The blending ratio of the imide compound in the composite is preferably 0.1-2.0wt.%. This process allows a high-speed casting and production of the objective film of high quality that is excellent in biaxial orientation effect, has little irregularities in thickness, and does not contain any foreign matter or any gel.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin sheet using a static electricity applying casting method, drastically increasing the upper limit of a sheet molding speed caused by the applying irregularity defect generated in the thermoplastic resin sheet, and a static electricity applying casting method used therein. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin sheet using the static electricity applying casting method when a thermoplastic resin is melted and extruded from a cap in a sheetlike state and the extrudate is cooled and solidified by a cooling drum, electrostatic charge is applied to the thermoplastic resin extruded into a sheetlike shape in a molten state so that the generation quantity of electrostatic charge in the vicinity of the end edge part of the sheet is made less than that of the central part of the sheet and a position where the generation quantity of electrostatic charge becomes little is made adjustable in the width direction of the sheet.
