Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a false twisted yarn and a yarn false-twisting machine that can stably produce the false-twisted yarn of synthetic fibers, particularly ultra fine synthetic fibers or a synthetic fiber having a special cross section, without occurrence of fluffing and yarn breakage and can produce woven and knitted fabrics good in drapeability, swell and soft feeling and a new kind of fabric hand different from the conventional drawn yarns and false- twisted yarns. SOLUTION: After undrawn yarn of a synthetic fiber is heated with a heater before twisting, the drawing operation and the false twisting operation are continuously carried out by using a twisting setter provided at a point differs from the point at which the yarn parts from a heater and is positioned between the heater and the false twisting machine as the twisting start point wherein the yarn is characteristically entangled before the yarn is heated.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinneret pack for melt spinning, having a simple structure, capable of reducing abnormal retention in the pack and improving spinnability and yarn qualities. SOLUTION: A lid 6 is attached to the top of a back case 1 into which a spinneret 2 is inserted. An introduction face 6c conically enlarged from a polymer introduction hole 7 is formed inside the lid 6. A part conically widening toward the end of the introduction face 6c is made into a curved face R of a circular arc shape in a longitudinal section and is tangentially connected to the end part at the inflow side of the pack case 1.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a synthetic fiber yarn, by which the development of fiber shaking or fiber breakage is depressed at the start of an operation to enable the stable start. SOLUTION: This method for producing the synthetic fiber yarn, comprising hooking an undrawn yarn on a preliminarily heating roller 3 and a drawing roller 4 at a low speed at the start of the operation and then increasing a yarn-processing speed between the preliminarily heating roller and the drawing roller to draw the yarn in a draw ratio (c) of 1.005 to 1.350 is characterized by increasing a drawing ratio (a) in the low speed operation to 1.15 to 1.40 times the draw ratio (c) and then increasing the yarn-processing speed, while gradually decreasing the drawing ratio (a) to the draw ratio (c). Also, the method for producing the synthetic fiber yarn, comprising hooking an undrawn yarn on a preliminarily heating roller 3 and a drawing roller 4 at a low speed at the start of the operation and then increasing a yarn-processing speed between the preliminarily heating roller and the drawing roller to draw the yarn in a draw ratio (c') of 1.500 to 3.500 is characterized by increasing a drawing ratio (a') in the low speed operation to 0.70 to 0.95 times the draw ratio (c') and then increasing the yarn-processing speed, while gradually decreasing the drawing ratio (a') to the draw ratio (c'). Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a false-twist textured yarn comprising single filaments with slight sectional deformation, and giving woven/knitted fabrics rich in softness, firmness and resilient feeling, having mild gloss and dry touch, good in drape, soft feeling and puffy feeling and presenting touch feeling of new sense different from those given by conventional drawn yarns or false-twist textured yarns. SOLUTION: This false-twist textured yarn is characterized by meeting the following properties (1) to (7): (1) the deformation degree of the single filaments with recessed sectional shape is 1.6-2.5, (2) the deformation degree of the single filaments with no recessed sectional shape is 1.0-2.0, (3) elongation at break is 20-50%, (4) stretch recovery (CR) is 10-40%, (5) crimp development extension (TR) is 0.5-15%, (6) maximum shrinkage stress is 0.1-1.0 cN/dtex, and (7) number of interlacing is 4-50.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a machine therefor capable of stably producing a false-twist texture yarn of synthetic fiber without occurrence of fluffs and yarn breakages and obtaining such a false-twist textured yarn giving woven/ knitted fabrics having good drape, puffy feeling, soft feeling, and touch feeling of new sense unlike conventional drawn yarns and false-twist textured yarns. SOLUTION: This method for producing the false-twist textured yarn, which comprises subjecting an undrawn yarn of synthetic fiber to draw twisting, specifically comprises the steps of heating the undrawn yarn by a heating body prior to a false-twisting operation and then putting the undrawn yarn to the false twisting with a false-twisting tool, wherein a twist setting device is provided at a point located between the heating body and the false-twisting tool and different from a conventional one in point from which the drawn yarn gets out of contact with the heating element, and while heating the drawn yarn again by a reheating device provided between the twist setting device and the false-twisting tool, a draw false-twisting is continuously performed with the above twist setting device as a false-twisting starting point.
