    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject conjugate fiber having high commercial value, gloss, dry feeling and feeling and useful for a sports clothing, etc., by using a hydrophilic component and a fiber-forming property as constituting components and having respectively prescribed humidity-absorbing and releasing parameter (ΔMR) and a flatness degree. SOLUTION: This fiber is a core-sheath conjugate fiber comprising a hydrophilic component 1 such as a polyetheresteramide-based compound and a polyetherester-based compound and a fiber forming polymer 2 such as polyethylene terephthalate as constituting components, and has >=1.0 % of ΔMR and 1.05-3.0 of flatness degree of the formula: flatness degree = (long distance in fiber cross section/short distance in fiber cross section). Preferably, a compound having ΔMR>=8% is used as the hydrophilic component, and the hydrophilic component is used as one component and a conjugate fraction is 5-90 wt.%, then a hollow part 3 is in the conjugate fiber structure, thus hollow fraction is 1-20%.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably produce a stretch back yarn having a bulkiness like a natural fiber, high bulkiness and stretchability and good crispness and toughness while solving the defects of conventional technique. SOLUTION: The fiber is a modified cross-section side-by-side conjugate polyester fiber composed of (A) a high-shrinkage polyester component consisting of a polypropylene terephthalate containing ≥85 mol% propylene terephthalate repeating unit and (B) a low-shrinkage polyester component consisting of a polyethylene terephthalate containing ≥85 mol% ethylene terephthalate repeating unit. The conjugate joint face between the high-viscosity polyester component A and the low-viscosity polyester component B in the cross-section of the fiber is constituted by two or more different groups of single fibers and all single fibers have the same conjugation ratio.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide polyester fiber which is suitably useful over a wide range of garment applications because it has fine roughness on the fiber surface and stick slip properties, shows high-quality appearance, dry fabric hand and gives comfortable feeling on clothing. CONSTITUTION:Titanium dioxide particles of 30-150nm primary particle size on the average or fine particles of alumina or zirconium oxide of 1-1,000nm average primary particle size are added to poly(ethylene terephthalate) in an amount of 0.3-10wt.%, mixed in an extruder, then melt-extruded into filaments. The filaments are woven or knitted into cloth, which is subjected to alkali- thinning treatment to form fine unevenness on the fiber surface whereby the cloth of polyester fibers having more than 0.020g/de stress difference DELTAf in the stick slip curve is produced.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fiber which has improved alkali hydrolysis resistance and improved light resistance, has excellent dyeability with cation dyes and disperse dyes and is suitable for blending or the like by spinning a polyester copolymerized with a specific aliphatic glycol component having a side chain. SOLUTION: This fiber comprises a polyester copolymerized with a side chain-having 6-25C aliphatic glycol component such as 3,3-dimethyl-1,2-butanediol preferably in an amount of 0.1-50 mol.%. The aliphatic glycol component is preferably an alkylene oxide adduct. The polyester is preferably copolymerized with one or more kinds of components selected from the group consisting of a dicarboxylic acid component, a glycol component and a polyoxyalkylene glycol component in addition to the side chain-having 6-25C aliphatic glycol component, and is preferably further copolymerized with a cation dye-dyeing site component preferably in an amount of 0.1-10 mol.% based on all the acid components.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain polyester fibers excellent in alkali hydrolytic resistance and dyeability and suitable for combined filaments and mixed use with other polyester fibers by copolymerizing a diol component and an acid component with prescribed amounts of respective specific copolymerization components. SOLUTION: The alkali hydrolysis-resistant polyester fibers are obtained by copolymerizing a dimer diol ethylene oxide adduct represented by formula I [R1 and R2 are each an alkyl; R3 and R4 are each an alkylene; the sum total of carbons in R1, R2, R3 and R4 is 4-36; (n) and (m) are each 1-14] and/or formula II (R1' and R2' are each an alkyl; R3' and R4' are each an alkylene; the sum total of carbons in R1', R2', R3' and R4' is 27-39; n' and m' are each 1-14) in an amount of 0.2-10 wt.% based on the total diol component and further a cationic dyeing site component, e.g. 5-sulfoisophthalic acid in an amount of 0.1-10 mol% based on the total acid component in a polyester comprising terephthalic acid as a main acid component and ethylene glycol as a main diol component.
