Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject liquid filter, safe in aspects of food sanitation and capable of instantaneously permeating hot water or water without falling off fine grains, etc., in the interior of a wrapping material by applying a specific amount of specified sucrose ester of a fatty acid to a nonwoven fabric composed of synthetic fiber. CONSTITUTION:A liquid filter composed of a fibrous material is obtained by applying, e.g. a monoester expressed by the formula (R is alkyl) and prepared by adding a fatty acid in an amount of 0.01-10wt.% based on the weight of fiber to a nonwoven fabric composed of synthetic fiber. The filter is safe in aspects of food sanitation, capable of instantaneously passing hot water or water and suitable as liquid extracting bags such as coffee bags or tea bags. Furthermore, a nonwoven fabric having >=5g/m basis weight and 10-500mum pore size or a melt blown nonwoven fabric having =5g/m basis weight, etc., according to the purpose of the liquid extracting bags can be exemplified as a preferred material for the nonwoven fabric.

The resultant sheet is then pressed to smooth the surface thereof, and, as necessary dyed to apply a casein based resin in an amount of >=1g/m expressed in terms of solid on the surface layer thereto and density the above-mentioned surface layer. The resultant leathery sheetlike material has >=0.2g/cm apparent density of the ultrafine fibers in the surface layer up to 50mu distance from the outermost surface, apparent density of the synthetic resin ad air permeability and moisture permeability and improved surface strength and contains the ultrafine fibers entangled at

Further, the difference of the melt point of the sheath component of A and B constituting fibers is 25 deg.C or under, and a desired laminate sheet can be manufactured by fusion bonding partly and bonding integrally A and B.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject sheet by combining a step to form a fiber sheet composed of three-dimensionally interlocked multicompnent fibers capable of forming ultrafine fibers, a step to treat said fiber sheet with a specific compound and dry the sheet to a specific shrinkage, a step to form a grain face and a step to finely divide the fiber into ultrafine fibers. CONSTITUTION:For example, a fiber sheet is produced by three-dimensionally interlocking fibers capable of forming ultrafine polyamide fibers. The sheet is made to contact with a high-speed fluid flow (preferably water) to effect the division of the fiber into ultrafine fibers and/or the interlocking of the fibers to form a dense structure. As necessary, the treated sheet is allowed to shrink in hot water to increase the density and pressed to smoothen the surface. A polyurethane elastomer is applied to the surface to form a grain layer and the surface is treated with an emulsion of an aromatic alcohol and dried. Finally, the sheet is allowed to shrink at an areal shrinkage S1 (defined by formula) of as high as >=5 to obtain the objective soft leather-like sheet. The sheet has high stiffness, dense texture and excellent damage resistance of the grain face.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled leather sheet made of fibers splittable to ultrafine fibers, free from gloss and having excellent fluffing resistance and excellent grain, by applying a polymeric elastomer to one surface of the leather sheet before or after splitting the fiber to ultrafine fibers. CONSTITUTION:A nonwoven fabric made of a fiber splittable to fibers of =20 deg.C to form a leather-like texture pattern. The leather-like sheet having grain and obtained by the above process does not form a glossy surface even by dyeing and has excellent fluffing resistance and alcohol resistance in spite of its high flexibility.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent dewing by forming a moisture permeable water-proof sheet adhering and integrating a melt blow nonwoven fabric specifying an average fiber diameter and METSUKE (weight/unit area) and a long fiber nonwoven fabric specifying an average fiber diameter and METSUKE with each other. CONSTITUTION:A melt blow extra fine fiber nonwoven fabric A constituted so that an average fiber diameter is 5 microns or less, METSUKE is about 15g/m or more and apparent density is about 0.40g/cm or less is formed. A laminated nonwoven fabric is formed by adhering and integrating a long fiber nonwoven fabric B an average fiber diameter of which is 10 microns or more and METSUKE of which is about 15g/m or more at least on one face of the melt blow extra fine fiber nonwoven fabric A. Additionally, surface roughness on a non-adhered side of the long fiber nonwoven fabric B is made about 4 microns or less and a fiber sufficiency rate of a surface layer part from the surface to the depth of 40 microns is made about 60% or more. Consequently, it is possible to improve workability by way of providing excellent moisture permeability and a water proofing property.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a composite sanitary material which is soft without liquid to remain on a surface, without returning the liquid and without moisture and gentle to skin by forming nonwoven fabric having water retention mainly of hydrophilic fiber and forming liquid permeability from a melt blown side. CONSTITUTION:A composite material is obtained by laminating melt blown nonwoven fabric made of extrafine fiber and having average fineness of a denier of about 0.03 and nonwoven fabric having water retention such as cellulose, acrylic fiber, cotton, etc. In this case, the nonwoven fabric having the water retention is formed mainly of hydrophilic fiber. Liquid permeability of the nonwoven fabric composite material is recognized substantially only from the melt brown side. The composite material is manufactured by connecting nonwoven fabric constituting fiber by water stream crossing.

CONSTITUTION:In an external wall ventilation technique, a ventilation layer 2 is interposed between an external wall 1 and a heat-insulating material 4. A house wrap 3 is interposed for preventing the deterioration of a heat-insulative effect. A moistureproof material 5 and an interior material 6 are disposed inside the heat- insulating material 4. The house wrap 3 is formed of a laminated nonwoven fabric, in which a melt blow ultra-thin fiber nonwoven fabric A having a mean fiber diameter of 5mum or less, weight per square meters of 15g/m and the apparent density of 0.40g/cm or less of fibers and a lint nonwoven fabric B having the means fiber diameter of 10mum or less and the weight per square meters of 20g/m or more are heat-fused partially, at that time. A fiber sufficiency rate is brought to at least 60% and fibers are fused partially in a surface layer section from a surface on the nonwoven fabric B side to 40mum depth.
