    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the titled artificial leather composed of a fibrous substrate layer containing polyester fiber having low oligomer content and a coating layer, having grained surface and high commercial value, and storable for a long period without causing whitening. CONSTITUTION:An elastic polymer such as polyurethane is impregnated in a fibrous substrate layer containing ultrafine polyester fibers having an oligomer content of =3 years without causing whitening. It is especially suitable as an artificial leather subjected to the heat-treatment such as embossing, etc. The most refractory oligomer is cyclic trimer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:A composite material having a sense of fulfillment like naturally occurring leather, softness, and high strength of coated layer and the whole composite material, obtained by forming continuously the coated layer consisting of an elastic high polymer, a nonentangled layer consisting of extremely fine yarn and an entangled layer of extremely fine. CONSTITUTION:Nonwoven fabric having 0.5mm. plush length on one side and 1.5mm. plush length on the other is prepared from yarn capable of being thinned to 0.3-0.001d, such as sea-in-island type conjugated yarn. A releasable substrate is coated with a solution of a straight-chain polyester polyurethane, dried, further coated with a crosslinkable type polyurethane solution, the side with the short plush length of the nonwoven fabric is piled on it, and the solution is dried and aged, to give a composite material having laminate in the order of the covered layer consisting the elastic high polymer, having 0.9-1.3g/cm density, and 7-30 times as much density as that of a nonentangled layer, the nonentangled layer consisting essentially of extremely fine yarn, and the entangled layer consisting essentially of the extremely fine yarn. The composite material has a sense of fulfillment of naturally occurring leather, softness, and high strength of conjugated material and the composite material, and is easily provided with wrinkles.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:A flexible and tough polyurethane composition useful as a coating compound, adhesive, especially a covering agent for artificial leather with silver, etc., having improved heat resistance, solvent resistance, weather resistance, resistance to change in color, etc., comprising a polyurethane elastic polymer and a specific trifunctional isocyanate compound.
