Abstract: Molten polyester sheet (2) is solidified by cooling it on the surface of a mobile cooling medium on which water film (7) is formed, and the sheet is stretched at least 4.5-fold in overall stretching ratio in a longitudinal direction through a plurality of stretching steps. Since casting is conducted via the water film, water is absorbed in the surface layer and the interior of the cast sheet, thus facilitating orientation by stretching in the longitudinal direction and lowering the stretching temperature. As a result, stretching with a high stretching ratio can be attained by multi-stage stretching without conducting high-temperature stretching. Thus, this process can accelerate film formation, improve productivity, and provide a film having reduced unevenness in thickness, less surface roughness and excellent abrasion resistance.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To offer such a cheap label to prevent reuse which can be easily produced. CONSTITUTION:The label 15 to prevent reuse consists of a peeling layer 16, a remaining layer 17 having an adhesive layer 18 provided on the peeling layer 16, an adhesive layer 19 to adhere the peeling layer 16 to the remaining layer 17. The adhesive layer 19 consists of an adhesive compsn. containing 100 pts.wt. acryl polyol polymer, 25-250 pts.wt. gun cotton, and 7-50 pts.wt. polyethylene wax. This label 15 is stuck to a member with the adhesive layer 18. When the label is peeled, the remaining layer 17 remains on the member but only the peeling layer 16 is peeled. A part of the remaining layer 17 adheres to the peeling layer 16, and thereby, the label 15 can be hardly reused.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a novel tape for a TAB having excellent adhesive properties and insulating properties by investigating the relationship of the chemical structure of the adhesive component of the tape for the TAB and the adhesive properties and insulating properties to a metal and skillfully combining an organometallic compound and a polyamide resin. SOLUTION: A layer, particularly, an adhesive layer composed of a laminate with an adhesive layer and a protective film layer on an organic insulating film having flexibility contains at least one kind or more of organometallic compounds selected from a polyamid resin and an organometallic compound shown by the formula of M(O-R')n(O-CO-R )m or a metallic chelate compound constituted of the organometallic compound and a chelate aegent as essential ingredients. Where M in formula represents a metallic element, (n) and (m) naural numbers and R and R substitutional or non-substitutional monovalent hydrocarbon groups. Accordingly, a novel tape for a TAB having excellent adhesive properties and insulating properties is acquired.

Film and fabric are exemplified as the plastic substrate. Polyester film, nylon film, polyoefin film, etc., are used as a film, and the substrate is preferably light-colored to easily read the printed characters. The fabric consists of synthetic fiber such as nylon, polyester and acrylic fibers. Acrylic, melamine, phenolic, urethanic adhesives, etc., are exemplified as the adhesive.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate mounting and facilitate reading of characters, etc., even after fabrication without receiving the influence of the fabrication by printing one surface of a transparent plastic film having resistant to heat, water and chemicals and coating the printed surface thereof with a tacky adhesive having the resistant to heat, water and chemicals. CONSTITUTION:The printed surface side of the label is adhered on cloth via the tacky adhesive applied thereon. The printing appears on the front surface side of the label through the transparent plastic film and, therefore, the front surface side is subjected to printing inside out. Both of the transparent plastic film as the base material and the tacky adhesive which have the resistant to heat, water and chemicals are used. The label stuck on the cloth exhibits the high resistant to heat, water and chemicals. There are films consisting of polyolefin, polyamide, polyester, fluororesins, etc., as the transparent plastic film. There are polyethylene, etc., as the polyolefin, nylon 6, etc., as the polyamide and polytetrafluoroethylene, etc., as the fluororesins.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily read characters or marks even after a processing without being affected by the processing by a method wherein a printing is done on one surface of a base material made of a heat-resistant, water-resistant and chemical-resistant synthetic resin, and on the opposite surface to the printed surface, an heat-resistant, water-resistant and chemical-resistant adhesive is applied. CONSTITUTION:A polyester film is used as a base film, and on one surface of the film, a printing is applied. Then, in a diluted solvent of toluene/ethyl acetate, a composition, for which 60 pts.wt. of a solid component of a thermally crosslinkable acrylic resin is blended with 40 pts.wt. per solid component of titanium oxide, which is a whitening pigment, is evenly diffused, and a coating agent with a concentration of 10wt.% is prepared. Then, the coating agent is applied onto the base film by the gravure coating method, and the coated layer is dried to complete a film for a printing-receiving layer. By this method, a label with excellent heat-resistance, water-resistance and chemical-resistance can be obtained, and the label is not dyed or discolored in the process of dying of a cloth.
