Abstract: PURPOSE:To align the center of the short diameter section of a cam ring with the center of the bearing section of one side of a side block so as to be adjusted in simple manner in a short time with high accuracy by inserting a dummy rotor section into the cam ring while the tapered shaft section of the dummy rotor is being inserted into the bearing member of one side of the side block. CONSTITUTION:The rotor section 11 of a dummy rotor 10 is inserted into a cam ring 3 while the tapered shaft section 12 of the dummy rotor 10 is being inserted into the bearing member 6 of one side of a side block 4. This thereby allows the center of the short diameter section of an elliptic inner circumferential, surface of the cam ring 3 to be automatically aligned with the center of the bearing member 6 of one side of the side block 4, that is, the center of the bearing member 6 fitted onto its enter hole 4a.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain the pressure of a vane backpressure chamber at a specific value constantly in an ordinary operation by closing a communication route to communicate the vane backpressure chamber and a low pressure chamber when the inner pressure in the backpressure chamber reaches a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A vane backpressure chamber 19 formed at the bottom of a vane groove and a low pressure chamber 37 are communicated by a communication route 60. And a trigger value 70 to shut the communication route 60 when the inner pressure in the vane backpressure chamber 19 reaches a specific value is provided in the communication route 60. As a result, at the time immediately after the starting of a compressor 1, a pressure is fed from the low pressure chamber 37 to the vane back pressure chamber 19 through the communication route 60, and the communication route 60 is shutted by the trigger valve 70 when the inner pressure in the vane backpressure chamber 19 reaches a specific value. Consequently, the inner pressure in the vane backpressure chamber 19 is constantly maintained at a specific value in ordinary operation of the compressor 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the vibration of a rotor by pressing the rotor toward a side block side by gradually increasing the opening degree of many discharge valves along the side block side to another side block side where inlet ports are provided. CONSTITUTION:A drive shaft 4 is rotatably supported between the front and back side blocks 3a and 3b fixed on both sides of a cylinder 2, and a rotor 5 is fixed to the drive shaft 4. The volume of a compressing chamber 14 varies along with the rotation of the rotor 5, and as a result, compressed fluid pressingly opens each of discharge valves 16a to 16d and flows out from discharge ports 15a through 15d. In this case, the opening degree L1-L4 of the discharge valves 16a to 16d which are regulated by valve stoppers 17a to 17d is set so as to become proportional relationship that the internal pressure of the cylinder may become gradually high on the back side. In addition, the rotor 5 is pressed in the direction 3b of the back side block to suppress the vibration of the rotor 5. This leads to the reduction of the noise along with the vibration of the rotor 5.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a shock absorbing member, and certainly reduce the adsorption sound of a clutch plate, by providing two layer of a wear resistant member and an elastic member to the shock absorbing member, and projecting the wear resistant member from one frictional surface to the other frictional surface. SOLUTION: When an electromagnetic coil is not energized, a part of the wear resistant member 12 of a shock absorbing member 10 is projected from the frictional surface 7a of a rotor 7. When the electromagnetic coil is energized so as to generate electromagnetic force, a clutch plate 14 is adsorbed to the frictional surface 7a against the elastic force of an origin return spring. At this time, the clutch plate 14 is firstly struck against the wear resistant member 12 of the shock absorbing member 10 and adsorbed to the frictional surface 7a while elastically deforming the elastic member 13, thus the collisional force of the clutch plate 14 can be loosened. Next, a gap (g) between the frictional surfaces 14a, 7a of the clutch plate 14 and the rotor 7 is made to be zero, the clutch plate 14 is integrally connected to the rotor 7, and rotational force from an engine is transmitted to a rotary shaft. When energization to the electromagnetic coil is stopped, attraction applied to the clutch plate 14 is made to be zero, thus the connected condition of the clutch plate 14 and the rotor 7 is canceled.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent liquid compression so as to suppress noise, when a compressor is started in a condition that a liquid-state refrigerant is accumulated, by providing the second passage, which connects the first passage to the other back pressure groove, in one side block. CONSTITUTION:In a front side block 3, a passage 24 of communicating with a delivery chamber 10, passage 25 for connecting the halfway of the passage 24 to an upper side back pressure groove and a passage(second passage)26 for connecting a closed end part of the passage 24 to a lower side back pressure groove 23 are provided. The first passage is constituted of the passages 24, 25, and further an opening/closing valve 27, closed when a delivery pressure in the delivery chamber 10 reaches a predetermined value, is provided in the passage 24. In this way, when a compressor is started in a condition that a liquid-state refrigerant is accumulated in a lower side compression chamber and a vane back pressure chamber, the opening/closing valve 27 is opened to relieve the liquid-state refrigerant to a side of the delivery chamber 10 through the lower side back pressure groove 23, passage 26 and the passage 24.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To lead lubricating oil effectively to a shaft seal chamber by forming a groove at least on either a side block or a head between a front side block and a head, and connecting the shaft seal chamber in serial to the low pressure chamber of the head. CONSTITUTION:A communicating passage 23 consisting of a groove 22 is formed in a side block 3a between a side block 3a on front side and a head 10 to make a low pressure chamber 12 connected to a shaft seal chamber 20 in serial. Lubricating oil separated from low temperature and low pressure sucked cooling medium led to the low pressure chamber 12 is introduced into the shaft seal chamber 20 through the communicating passage 23 without being interrupted by a check valve 15, and a shaft seal 21 and a radial bearing 9a are lubricated effectively, keeping the periphery of the shaft seal 21 at a low pressure to reduce load. It is thus possible to provide longer service life.
