    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the vibration due to dislocation of the center of gravity from the rotational center by furnishing a counter-weight on the surface of a rotary member, in such a way as movable in the direction of varying the distance from the driving shaft, and dislocating this counter-weight in accordance with change in the swing angle of a wobble plate. CONSTITUTION:A rotary member 9 for transmitting the power is equipped with a center-of-gravity adjusting mechanism interlocking with a rotary member 11 for supporting a wobble plate, and a ring loosely fitted rotatably on a pin 15 of an arm 14 is installed at one end of a rod 41 which rotates round a pivot 40 mounted on a lug plate 12, while a counter-weight 43 is installed at the other end. In case the stroke of a piston 23, i.e., the capacity of compressor 1, increases, the pin 15 of link mechanism is positioned apart from the driving shaft 7 in a long hole 13 in case the counter-weight 43 approaches the driving shaft 7 and the capacity or the compressor 1 lessens, the pin 15 is positioned as approaching the driving shaft 7 in the long hole 13, and the counter-weight 43 moves apart from the driving shaft 7.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutchless variable capacity compressor of a simple structure, which can achieve '0' delivery capacity by controlling a dead volume, prevents the loss of power, when the heat load is lowered (a time corresponding to clutch-off), and can be easily started. SOLUTION: A clutchless variable capacity compressor comprises a cylinder block 1 formed plural cylinder bores 6, the pistons slidable in the cylinder bores 6, and a power transmitting member for converting the rotation of a rotary shaft into a reciprocating motion of the pistons 7, and a stroke amount of the pistons 7 are altered corresponding to the heat load to change the delivery capacity. On this occasion, the compressor comprises a circular groove 40 formed on the cylinder block 1, a communication path 41 formed on the cylinder block 1, and communicated with the circular groove 40 from a compression chamber 30 in the cylinder bore 6, and a switching valve for opening the communication path 41 only in the minimum stroke of the piston 7, for communicating the compression chamber 30 and the circular groove 40.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To cut off a communicating passage securely so as to maintain a small capacity operation, and to prevent a sudden rise of the torque by providing an electromagnetic valve at the downstream of a control valve in the communicating passage between a crankcase and a suction chamber. CONSTITUTION:At a communicating passage 16 between a crankcase 6 which houses an oscillating plate 50 installed to a rotary shaft 7, and a suction chamber 15, a valve chamber 18 is provided. And a control valve 19 to open and close the communicating passage 16 according to the suction air pressure is provided to the valve chamber 18, and thereby the pressure in the crankcase 6 is regulated so as to convert the inclination of the oscillating plate 50. In such a constitution, an electromagnetic valve 28 provided at the downstream of the control valve 19 is closed by an electromagnetic control device 38, at the same time when a compressor is started to operate, so as to cut off the communicating passage 16. And the escape of a coolant gas in the crankcase 6 to the suction chamber 15 is blocked, and the oscillating plate 50 is maintained at a small capacity angle. Consequently, the small capacity operation is maintained, and a sudden rise of the torque is prevented.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sliding surface of a retainer from wearing of generating noise, by placing a sliding plate between the retainer and a retainer presser such that the sliding plate can slide relatively in relation to the retainer and the retainer presser respectively. SOLUTION: When a piston 7 moves from upper dead point to lower dead point, the piston 7 is pulled toward a front head side by a retainer 53, and a shim (sliding plate) 70 which is stored in an annular recessed part which is formed on a piston side end surface 53c of the retainer 53 is pressed on a retainer presser 55. Then, the shim 70 slides (rotates) in relation to the retainer presser 55 which rotates integratedly with a swash plate 10. As a result, the shim 70 slides more slowly than rotational velocity of a shaft 5. On the other hand, the retainer 53 dose not rotates integratedly with the swash plate 10 when the shaft 5 rotates, and slides in relation to the shim 70. The shim 70 slides respectively to the retainer 53 and the retainer presser 55, and reduces sliding velocity of the retainer presser 55 to the retainer 53.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain a sudden torque variation in starting a compressor, ensure stable engine running and prevent engine stall at the time of idling, and prevent the occurrence of an impact noise and abnormal wear at an engine start. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder chamber 36 is formed on the internal surface of a boss section for a rotor 40. A shaft 7 is provided with a high-pressure introduction passage 35 for introducing delivery gas from a delivery chamber 10 to the cylinder chamber 36. Also, the shaft 7 is so fitted with an annular piston 37 as to be freely slidable, and the piston 37 is loosely coupled to the cylinder chamber 36 in such a way as pressing a spring 46, according to a pressure rise in the chamber 36. High-pressure guide passages 28, 29, 26b and 32 are provided in a cylinder block 2 for introducing delivery gas from the delivery chamber 10 to the high-pressure introduction passage 35. Furthermore, the high- pressure guide passages 28, 29, 26b and 32 are fitted with spool valves 27 at intermediate sections to open and close according to a pressure difference between intake pressure Ps and delivery pressure Pd, and to close the passages, when the delivery pressure Pd rises to such an level as causing the pressure difference equal to or above the predetermined value.

Further, when the wobble plate 19 turns, together with the turning member 11, in the direction for reducing the swing angle and the discharge capacity reduces, the pin of each counterweight 51, 52 shifts to the opposite side to a link mechanism for a driving shaft 7, guided by the spiral groove, and the weight part of each counterweight turns in the opposed direction.
