    Abstract: A swashplate (24) is mounted to a drive shaft (7) so that it is able to tilt, and a driving hub (20) pivots on the shaft (7) and has a projection section (20c) which extends through the swashplate (24). Mountings (26,27,28;60,70) secure the hub (20) so that it can rotate with and at the same time position itself at an angle to the shaft (7). A bearing (23) is located between the swashplate (24) and the projection (20c) of the driving hub (20). The hub projection (20c) has an external thread (20e) which meshes with an internal thread (28b; 60a, 70a) on the mounting members (26, 27, 28; 60,70). When the threads are screwed home, the bearing (23) is forced against the swashplate (24). ADVANTAGE - Improved swashplate mounting reduces compressor vibration and noise and extends bearing and component life.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facitate gap control to a slide surface of a shoe and a slide surface of a swash plate by composing the shoe of separate bodies of a first support member to support a one end part tip surface of a connecting rod to be capable of rolling, and a second support member to support its one end part back end surface to be capable of rolling. SOLUTION: A shoe 50 is composed of a first support member 51 to support a tip surface of one end part 11a of a connecting rod 11 to be capable of rolling, and a second support member 52 to support a back end surface of the other end part 11b of the connecting rod 11. The first support member 51 is provided with a recessed surface part 51a which gets in surface contact with the tip surface of one end part 11a. The second support member 52 is provided with a thin disc-shaped center part 52 which is swollen to surround the back end surface of one end part 11a. In this constitution, need of cutting work to a slide surface of the shoe 50 is eliminated, but a shoe cap can be adjusted only by changing the disc-shaped first support member 51.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress a torque variation and to avoid a liquid contraction by providing a capacity control valve with a relatively large opening area in one side of plural passages communicating a crankcase and a suction chamber, and cutting off the passage when the pressure in the crankcase is made lower than a specific value. CONSTITUTION:In a communicating passage 16 between a crankcase 6 housing an oscillating plate 50 installed to a rotary shaft 7, and a suction chamber 15, a valve chamber 18 is provided. And a control valve 19 to open and close the communicating passage 16 according to the suction air pressure is provided to the valve chamber 18, and thereby the pressure in the crankcase 6 is regulated to convert the inclination of the oscillating plate 50. In such a constitution, the second communicating passage 39 to communicate the both chambers 6 and 15 is added, and a capacity control valve 27 which is closed when the pressure in the crankcase 6 is lowered less than a specific value is provided therein. And the opening area of the capacity control valve 27 is made larger than that of the control valve 19. Furthermore, an orifice 29 is provided at the discharge side end of the second communicating passage 39 to throttle the passage.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the vibration caused by dislocation of the center of gravity from the rotational center by furnishing a counter-weight on the way of a communication path formed in a rotary member, and allowing the counter-weight to move in accordance with the size of the differential pressure between a crank chamber and a low pressure chamber in the direction of varying the distance from the driving shaft. CONSTITUTION:A rotary member 9 for transmitting the power is provided with an accommodation chamber 47 on the way of a transverse hole 40a, and this chamber 47 accommodates a counter-weight 48 which can only slide in the radial direction of the rotary member 9. The two ends of this counter-weight 48 are energized in opposite directions by springs 49, 50 arranged in the accommodation chamber 47, and the differential pressure with a low pressure chamber 28 increases with higher pressure in a crank chamber 4 to generate a motive as approaching the counter-weight 48 to the driving shaft 7. When the stroke of a piston 23, i.e., the capacity of compressor 1, enlarges, the differential pressure between the crank chamber 4 and low pressure chamber 28 decreases to move the counter-weight 48 apart from the drive shaft 7-when the capacity of the compressor 1 lessens, the counter-weight 48 approaches the driving shaft 7.

During the rotation of a nutation plate 10, only the protruded portion 82a of the shoe 80 reciprocates along the radial direction of a retainer 53 contacting the inner circumferential surface of a plurality of openings 61 of the retainer 53, while the protruded portion 52a of the reset shoe 50 is engaged in precessional action without contacting the inner circumferential surface of the openings 62 to 67 of the retainer 53 of the openings.

A shaft 5 is inserted into a hole 9a provided in a slide member 9 to be along a direction orthogonal to a center line of the slide member 9. The slide member 9 is inserted into a hole 36a along a radial direction of the boos part 36.

A length of a perpendicular E drawn from one cross point C, which is one of two cross points C, D of a circular outline of the tip of each suction valves 211-215 and the inner peripheral circle of each cylinder bore 31-35, to the base end line A is made shorter than a length of a perpendicular F drawn from the other cross point D to the base end line A.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase of noise and a decrease of performance by suppressing wearing between a guide groove and a cylindrical part of a rod, and impede rotation of a tilt rotary plate around a shaft orthogonal respectively to the center axis of a shaft and the tilt rotary plate by a simple hinge mechanism. SOLUTION: A hinge mechanism 41 is constituted by a linear guide groove 10f provided in a swash plate 10 and a rod 43 fixed to a thrust flange 40 to have a cylindrical part 43a slidably fitted to the guide groove 10f. A center axis of the cylindrical part 43a of the rod 43 is provided substantially at a right angle in a lengthwise direction of the guide groove 10f. In accordance with a change of pressure in a crank chamber 8, the cylindrical part 43a of the rod 43 is relatively slid in the guide groove 10f, a tilt angle of the swash plate 10 is changed, but here, by relatively moving the cylindrical part 43a of the rod 43 in a condition of line contact relating to an internal wall surface of the guide groove 10f, wearing is suppressed. Since a center axis of the cylindrical part 43a of the rod 43 is substantially at a right angle in a lengthwise direction of the guide groove 10f, and, by the single rod 43, rotation of the swash plate 10 around a shaft orthogonal to a center axis of the swash plate 10 is impeded.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the noise generated by the vibration of an oscillating plate and improve durability by eliminating this vibration. CONSTITUTION:A recessed part 24a is provided at the inner peripheral edge of an oscillating plate 24, and an angular ball bearing 23 is force-fitted into the recessed part 24a. The oscillating plate 24 is fitted to the boss part 20 of a drive hub 20 through the ball bearing 23, and a male screw 20e is formed at the outer periphery of the boss part 20c of the drive hub 20. A lock nut 28 is screwed into the boss part 20c through a balance weight 26 and a lock washer 27, and the butt-contact part 26b of the balance weight 26 is butt-pressed to one end face of the inner wheel 39 of the angular ball bearing 23. When one end face of the inner wheel 39 of the angular ball bearing 23 is pressed, axial and radial forces act upon a ball 40 since the inner peripheral surface of the inner wheel 39 is inclined, and an outer wheel 41 is also pressed axially and radially since the inner peripheral surface of the outer wheel 41 is also inclined so as to eliminate a gap with the oscillating plate 24.
