Abstract: A modular unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system comprises a body module, a rotor module, and a wing module. The body module includes a flight controller and a power distribution device. The body module is releasably attachable to the rotor module or the wing module, and the body module is releasably attachable to the rotor module. The rotor module includes one or more motors and electronic speed controllers (ESCs), while the wing module includes a wing having a flap, elevator, aileron, or rudder. Various UAV configurations can be formed from the body module, the rotor module, and the wing module. Each configuration includes different advantages for flight time, distance, battery life, and payload capacity. A UAV can be configured to a particular configuration to optimize parcel delivery.

The frame comprises at least one elongated rigid segment, at least one upper flexible segment at an upper end of the rigid segment, and at least one lower flexible segment at a lower end of the rigid segment. The upper flexible segment is adapted to be selectively attachable, directly or indirectly, to the UAV. The processor receives, from the transceiver, product data for a resupply request referencing the target, the product data including at least one of a product type or a product quantity. The processor generates, without human intervention, unmanned autonomous vehicle (UAV) mission data based on the location data and the product data, the UAV mission data including a representation of at least one UAV and flight path data for the at least one UAV. The UAV mission data is caused to transmit to at least one UAV controller to cause the at least one UAV controller to initiate navigation of the at least one UAV according to the UAV mission data.

Erfindungsgemäß werden Strömungen oder Teilströmungen mit einer Neigung der Mittelachse der jeweiligen Strömung oder Teilströmung von mindestens 10° und maximal 90° gegenüber der Normalen auf die horizontale Ebene des Gerätes oder Teilsystems erzeugt, wobei wechselnde Strömungsgeschwindigkeit und/oder Strömungsrichtung der Strömungen und/oder Teilströmungen Schub erzeugt wird, der zumindest eine Komponente in der horizontalen Ebene des Gerätes oder Teilsystems hat und zum Vortrieb und/oder der Änderung der Geschwindigkeit des Geräts oder Teilsystems und/oder Kompensation von Störungen in dieser Ebene, bei Beibehaltung oder der Möglichkeit zur Beibehaltung einer horizontalen oder konstant geneigten Lage des schwebenden Gerätes oder Teilsystems, genutzt wird.
