Abstract:
A hinge for a movable furniture part fastened to a body of a piece of furniture is proposed, the hinge having a first fastening part which is attachable to the body and which is connected pivotably via a joint mechanism to a second fastening part attachable to the movable furniture part, the joint mechanism comprising articulated levers mounted via axes of articulation. According to the invention, a further pivotably mounted lever is present, which, during a complete as-intended pivoting movement of the hinge, is temporarily coupled to a guide portion on the hinge, the further lever acting upon a damper arrangement of the hinge.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dishwasher (1) comprising a body (2), a door (3) which provides access into the body (2) and opens from the top downwards by rotating around the horizontal axis, a door latch (4) which provides the door (3) to be locked, and a door opening mechanism (6) having a linear actuator (5) that provides the door (3) to be opened automatically at the end of the washing and drying processes such that some gap remains between the door (3) and the body (2).
Abstract:
A bin lid assembly includes a lid member arranged to span across an opening in the roof of a grain storage bin. The lid member is supported by a hinge which is biased towards a closed position extending forwardly across the bin opening from an open position extending rearwardly. An operating linkage is pivotally connected to the lid member and includes a opening arm which is folded relative to the lid member from a first position extending upwardly in the closed position of the lid member to a second position extending rearwardly in the open position of the lid member to allow the lid member to be opened 180 degrees. The linkage also allows a mechanical advantage to be maintained when pulling the lid open using an actuator tether alongside the bin which is connected at an upper end to the opening arm.
Abstract:
The hinge structure for a furniture with a foldable shelf (1) reversibly turnable downwards from a closing position of the furniture to a substantially horizontal opening position comprises a first and a second rocker arm (2, 3) hinged at their ends by means of a first, second, third and fourth pin (4, 5, 6, 7) to a first plate (8) able to be fixed to a stationary portion (9) of the furniture and to a second plate (10) able to be fixed to the shelf (1), first decelerating means (11) mainly of the final portion of the opening stroke of the shelf (1) independently from second decelerating means (12) mainly of the initial portion of the opening stroke of the shelf (1).
Abstract:
A hinge wing includes a cup intended for being fixed in a hole of a furniture component. The wing is provided with a pair of expandable teeth arranged on opposite sides of the cup. The teeth are fixed on an eccentric lever of the wing, by rotating which the teeth are moved in an opposite direction to the direction of insertion of the cup into the respective receiving hole. The wing includes for each tooth a cam that, upon rotation of the eccentric lever, causes the respective tooth to expand against a side wall of the receiving hole of the cup to fix the cup to the furniture component. Each cam is formed with a cam element of yieldable material interposed between a side wall of the cup and the respective tooth.
Abstract:
A furniture hinge with a door-leaf attachment part (1) for fastening to a door leaf (36) and a carcass attachment part (2) connected to the hinge so that it can pivot for fastening to a furniture carcass (37). At least one functional unit (3) influences a pivoting movement between the door-leaf attachment part (1) and the carcass attachment part (2). The carcass attachment part (2) has a first component (4) and at least one second component (5), and the first component (4) is supported on the second component (5) at least by at least one adjustment device (6), and a relative position of the first component (4) to the second component (5) can be adjusted with the adjustment device (6). The functional unit (3) has a first functional element (8) and at least one second functional element (9), the first functional element (8) is supported so that it can move relative to the second functional element (9), and the first functional element (8) is fastened to or supported on the adjustment device (6).
Abstract:
Described is a combination of a hinge for doors or wings and a damping device in which the hinge (2) is composed of a first fastening arm (7), a second fastening arm (8) and a connecting system (9) interposed between the first and the second fastening arm (7, 8) in such manner as to make them reciprocally mobile; and in which the damping device (3) is associated with the hinge (2) at a mounting position where the damping device (3) and the hinge (2) are positioned close to each other; the damping device (3) comprises a mounting case (10), a cylinder and piston unit (11) hinged to the mounting case (10), an actuating rod (12) and a drive unit (13) interposed between the cylinder and piston unit (11) and the actuating rod (12) in order to impart to the piston (26) and cylinder (27) a relative sliding movement; the actuating rod (12) extends into the hinge (2) and is movable in a straight line between a first, extracted position, where it extends freely into the open hinge (2), and a second, retracted position, where it is in contact with a thrust surface (17) of the closed hinge (2).
Abstract:
A damping arrangement, in particular for displaceable furniture parts, includes a damper (1) which is provided with a tappet (2) which can be impinged upon, and which can be supported by a support element (3). The support element (3) can be positioned and/or displaced in relation to the tappet (2).
Abstract:
A door hinge for a household appliance, the household appliance including a body and a door, the door being movable about a horizontal axis between an approximately vertical closed position and an approximately horizontal opened position. The door hinge includes a housing couplable to the body, a door lever pivotably mountable on the door for movement about a main shaft, a weight compensating spring and a closing spring. The weight compensating spring holds the door approximately in a position of equilibrium when the door is opened and the closing spring applies a self-closing force shortly before the door reaches the closed position and applies a closure maintaining force when the door reaches the closed position. Further included is a dampening device that either counteracts a closing force or an opening force.
Abstract:
A vehicle having an endgate counter balance for use with an endgate of the vehicle, and a method of operating, is disclosed. The endgate counterbalance may include a hinge arm extending from the hinge, an energy storage device and a crank mechanism connected between the hinge arm and the energy storage device. The endgate counterbalance is configured to create a cross-over position for the endgate between closed and fully open where the endgate counterbalance does not exert a rotational bias on the endgate.
