Abstract: 본발명의실시예에따른관측용무동력형비행유닛은발사장비에장착되어상기발사장비의작동시 미리설정된목표방향을향하여날아간후 상사점(TDP:Top Dead Point, 上死點)의위치에서자중에의해지상을향하여낙하되는몸체부, 상기몸체부에결합되어상기몸체부의낙하시 상기몸체부에작용하는항력에의하여자동으로회전력을발생시켜상기몸체부의낙하속도를지연시키는프로펠러부, 그리고상기몸체부에설치되어상기몸체부의낙하시 상기지상에대한영상정보를취득하는영상부를포함한다. 본발명에의하면, 재난, 치안등의긴급상황시 총알또는소형로켓등과같이발사장비에장착되어높은고도를향하여발사된후, 항력에의해자동적으로회전력을발생시켜지면을향하여서서히낙하되면서지상에대한영상정보를취득할수 있는구조로형성됨으로써, 사용이간단하고비행시에도별도의조작이필요치않으므로운행시 준비시간이필요하지않고, 신속히긴급상황발생지역주변을관측할수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A launching device for a glider is provided to enable a user to fly the glider by oneself while freely adjusting the width and an angle between support pieces according to a direction or strength of wind and a size of the glider. CONSTITUTION: A stay member(3) having a glider fastening boss(4) is coupled to the rear ends of length adjustable support pieces(1,2). A triangular height adjustable support legs(5) is installed beneath the center of the support pieces to adjust a height of an ascending/descending rod(6). The rod is formed with bolt holes(7,8) on the upper end thereof, a bolt(9) and a nut(10) are fastened into the bolt holes and a guide bore(12) formed at the lower end of a fixing rod so as to adjust an inclination angle between the rods. Actuating rods(14,16) are coupled between the support pieces and the fixing rod via the engagement of racks and a pinion. Also, a wind bag(21) is attached to the upper end of a fixing piece(19) having a bolt portion(20) to be fitted into a screw bore(18) formed at the rear end of one of the support pieces.

Abstract: A lightweight, pocket-sized unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that can be held in an outstretched hand by a user for take-off and landing of the UAV. The UAV comprises a semi-toroidal or a substantially toroidal hollow body that defines a duct. The UAV further comprises a motor for rotating a fan that directs air into and out of the duct enabling the UAV to take flight. The UAV comprises a flight-control system that comprises at least two flight control surfaces that can alter the directed air as it flows through the duct for controlling the roll and pitch and optionally the yaw of the UAV during flight. The flight control system may be controlled by a microprocessor controller. The UAV further comprises a payload, with at least a wireless transmitter and receiver unit.
