음원 위치 단서 기반의 멀티 채널 오디오 복호화 장치 및 방법을 개시한다. 음원 위치 단서 기반의 멀티 채널 오디오 복호화 장치는 신호를 수신하고, 수신한 상기 신호를 오디오 비트스트림과 부가 정보 비트스트림으로 파싱하는 디멀티플렉서; 상기 오디오 비트스트림을 기초로 다운믹스 신호를 복원하는 오디오 복호화부; 상기 다운믹스 신호와 상기 부가 정보 비트스트림을 사용하여 멀티 채널 신호를 예측하고, 상기 멀티 채널 신호를 기초로 상기 다운 믹스 신호를 업믹싱하여 업믹싱 신호를 생성하는 통합 업믹싱부; 상기 업믹싱 신호에 통합 필터 뱅크를 수행하여 시간 영역 신호를 추출하고, 상기 업믹싱 신호를 윈도우잉하여 출력 신호를 추출하는 통합 필터뱅크 윈도우잉부를 포함한다. PURPOSE: An encoding/decoding apparatus of an audio signal and a method thereof are provided to reduce the size of the encoded audio frame by converting a mute section into a flag type of low capacity. CONSTITUTION: In case an audio signal is in non-mute interval, an audio encoding unit(120) encodes the non-mute speech frame. The audio encoding unit generates a non-mute frame. A mute frame generating unit(130) generates a mute frame of a flag type. An audio frame generating unit(140) combines the non-mute frame and the mute frame.

PURPOSE: A multi-object encoding/decoding method and an apparatus thereof are provided to efficiently supply various audio services and to generate bit stream including a down-mix signal. CONSTITUTION: A first down-mix generating unit(102) down-mixes a sub-audio object and a first main audio object. The first down-mix generating unit generates a first residual signal and a first down-mix signal. A second down-mix generating unit(103) down-mixes the first down-mix signal and a second main audio object. The second down-mix generating unit generates the second down-mix signal and a second residual signal.
Abstract:
A Unified Speech and Audio Codec (USAC) for adjusting an overlap area of a window based on a transition is provided. To increase an encoding efficiency, encoding may be performed by overlapping relatively long windows. Additionally, when a transition is generated between frames, an overlap area of a window may be reduced based on the transition, thereby preventing a noise from occurring due to the transition.

PURPOSE: An integration voice/audio coding/decoding apparatus and method thereof are provided to reduce pre-echo which is generated in a transient section by controlling an overlap domain of a window. CONSTITUTION: An integration voice/audio coding/decoding apparatus includes a detection unit, a first encoding unit, a second encoding unit, and a bit stream formatter. The first encoding unit encodes an input signal and detects a second transient section from an encoded result. The second encoding unit controls the length of an overlap domain and encodes the input signal. The bit stream formatter generates bit stream and the input signal.

PURPOSE: A window processing for interconnecting between an MDTC(Modified Discrete Cosine Transform) frame and a heterogeneous frame is provided to satisfy TDAC conditions for the recovery of an original signal. CONSTITUTION: A frame applying unit(601) applies a window to a current frame. A window folding unit(602) performs the folding of the window. A zero setting unit(603) establishes the domain folding the window in zero value at the current frame. A frame extracting unit(604) extracts the frame in which the folded first window is processed. A window generating unit(605) generates the second window of the opposite value and folded window. A signal restoring unit(606) restores the former state the raw signal from frame.

PURPOSE: A high quality multiple audio coder and decoder is provided to control a target audio object signal by using a residual signal. CONSTITUTION: A first multiple object encoder(310) generates a first down-mix signal by mixing down a plurality of audio object signals. The first multiple object encoder extracts a first spatial parameter showing the object information of the audio object signal. A second multiple object encoder(330) generates a second down-mix signal by mixing down at least one target audio object signal with the first down-mix signal. The second multiple object encoder extracts a second spatial parameter showing the object information of at least one target audio object signal with the first down-mix signal.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A 3D binaural filtering system using SAC(Spectral Audio Doding) side information and a method thereof are provided to reduce the deterioration of sound quality in a binaural filtering procedure by outputting a 3D binaural signal without restoring a multi-channel audio signal through additional SAC information. CONSTITUTION: A stereo decoder(S110) outputs a PCM(Pulse Code Modulation) signal by decoding a downmix audio bitstream which constitutes a multichannel audio signal through terrestrial DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) and satellite DMB. An additional information analyzer(S130) extracts multichannel audio reproduction feature parameters through the analysis of additional information bistratem which constitutes the multichannel audio signal. A binaural filtering unit(S150) outputs a 3D binaural signal from a downmix audio signal through the multichannel audio reproduction feature parameters.

CONSTITUTION: A sound source location producer(110) produces a sound source location of the sound source signals from an audio contents including a plurality of signal signals. A playback space information gaining unit(120) gains the playback space information toward the playback space of the audio contents. A signal processing unit(130) generates a plurality of signal signals with rendering the plurality of signal signals based on the sound source location and the playback space information. A transferring unit(140) respectively transmits the speaker signals to a plurality of speakers corresponding to the speaker signals.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A system and a method of grouping tracks inside a file are provided to group presentation metadata when multimedia tracks include overlapped presentation metadata, thereby storing the grouped metadata in a file. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of multimedia tracks is saved according to a file format like the ISO file format. The multimedia tracks are compressed in the same encoding method. If parts of presentation metadata information about an included audio track are the same, the metadata information is displayed using a group box not to overlappingly save the metadata information.
