Abstract: PURPOSE: A digital television symbol timing synchronous algorithm is provided to square an existing Gardner method with a received signal, and to apply the squared value to a Gardner symbol timing detector, then to recover a symbol clock, thereby restoring symbol timing without frequency components. CONSTITUTION: A Gardner symbol timing recoverer using a prefilter is independently operated from a squared Gardner symbol timing recoverer. The Gardner symbol timing recoverer using the prefilter filters a signal passing through a square root cosine filter1(303) to a prefilter1(304), and uses the filtered signal as an input of a timing detector1(308). The timing detector(308) generates a timing error, amplifies an error value in an amplifier1(312), and obtains an average in a loop filter1(311), then controls parameters of an interpolation filter1(302) in an address calculator1(310). Power of a signal passing through the prefilter1(304) is measured in a power calculator1(306). A distributive calculator1(309) measures changes of the power, and controls a gain value of the amplifier1(312). The distributive calculator1(309) measures how fast a channel changes.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A switching angle control method is provided to allow for a precise control and achieve improved response speed, while achieving improved torque and efficiency of a switched reluctance motor. CONSTITUTION: A switching angle control method comprises a first step of adjusting a turn-off angle corresponding to the pulses of the maximum torque by fixing a turn-on angle of a converter(12), sampling encoder pulse outputs generated from an encoder(18) of a switched reluctance motor(14) and comparing the stored pulses and the current pulses; and a second step of adjusting the turn-on angle by a predetermined deviation of angle in such a manner that the maximum speed is generated, by receiving a phase current value from the converter and comparing the maximum value of the stored phase current and the maximum value of the current phase current.

CONSTITUTION: An LED module unit(2a) properly mixes red, blue, and green LEDs. An LED reflection plate unit(2c) emits various light colors by mixing the lights of the 3 main waves generated from the 3 primary colors LED through the LED control device. Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for recovering high quality carbon from waste carbon sludge is provided, to remove the ash content by 99% or more and the iron content by 100% from waste carbon sludge generated due to the incomplete combustion in a flame reaction of water for producing hydrogen gas. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of making waste carbon slurry by using waste carbon sludge and water; pulverizing the waste carbon slurry; floatation-treating the pulverized one; ultrasonicating the floated one; and magnetic separating the ultrasonicated product. The concentration of the slurry is 1-5 wt%. Preferably the floatation is carried out by using kerosene as a collector, and Aero Froth 73, MIBC or pine oil as a foaming agent. The magnetic separation is carried out at a slurry concentration of 1-5.5 % with magnetic flux of 1,000-18,000 G.
