PURPOSE: A composition containing a Camellia sinensis leaf extract, a Camellia sinensis flower extract, and a Camellia sinensis seed extract as active ingredients is provided to activate AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), to suppress fatty acid synthesis, and to promote fatty acid oxidation and glucose absorption, thereby preventing and treating metabolic syndrome. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating metabolic syndrome contains a Camellia sinensis leaf extract, a Camellia sinensis flower extract, and a Camellia sinensis seed extract as active ingredients, in a weight ratio of 4-12:0.3-4:0.3-4. The composition contains the Camellia sinensis leaf extract and the Camellia sinensis flower and seed extracts in a weight ratio of 4-12:0.2-8. The metabolic syndrome is a glucoside metabolic syndrome or a lipid metabolic syndrome. PURPOSE: A composition containing tea extract and lactic acid bacteria is provided to suppress cancer cell proliferation and to prevent or treat intestinal diseases. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating intestinal diseases contains 0.0001-90 wt% of tea extract and 0.1-20 wt% of lactic acid bacteria. The tea extract contains catechin including epigallocatechin gallate, epigallocatechin, epicatechin gallate, or epicatechin. The lactic acid bacteria include Lactobacillus plantarum or Lactobacillus paracasei. A method for preparing the composition comprises a step of extracting tea which is fermented with the lactic acid bacteria. A method for processing fermented green tea leaf using ultra high pressure technology is provided to process fermented green tea leaf before a drying process in order to maintain the flavor of the fermented green tea and to secure high content of effective components. A method for processing fermented green tea leaf comprises the following steps of: fermenting green tea leaves; and treating the fermented green tea leaves under the condition of 200Mpa or greater and 60‹C or lower for 1-15 minutes and drying the treated green tea leaves. More preferably, the fermented green tea leaves are treated at 25~45‹C and 200-500Mpa. The fermented green tea leaf is selected from the group consisting of semi-fermented tea including Oolong tea, fermented tea including black tea and post-heating fermented tea including Puer tea.

PURPOSE: Novel Lactobacillus plantarum Apsulloc 331266(deposit number: KCCM11181P) is provided to ensure acid resistance, and to use as food with high rate of bacteria to reach the intestine. CONSTITUTION: Lactobacillus plantarum APsulloc 331266(deposit number: KCCM11181P) is isolated from Camellia sinensis leaves. A strain of the Lactobacillus plantarum APsulloc 331266 has acid resistance at pH 2.5-4.5 for 0.5-5 hours. The strain has lactic acid productivity. The strain produces lactic acid with 70% or less of type D among lactic acid. A composition contains the strain or a culture medium thereof. The composition is a fermented food composition.
