Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a drink composition containing extracts and essential oil of Thymus quinquecostatus which is useful for the prevention of adult diseases. therefore, the drink containing active ingredients of Thymus quinquecostatus has reinforced functions. CONSTITUTION: The drink composition containing extracts and essential oil of Thymus quinquecostatus is characterized by comprising as a main ingredient, 0.01-0.5 wt.% of essential oil of Thymus quinquecostatus, referred to 0.5-20 wt.% of total drink composition. It further contains 1-10 wt.% of fructose, 0.1-5 wt.% of refined white sugar, 0.01-1.0 wt.% of citric acid, 0.01-1 wt.% of concentrated fruit juice, 0.1-5 wt.% of sodium benzoate, and 57-98.8 wt.% of purified water, as side ingredients.
